I find it best to be specific and write a list of games from which I can be surprised. Is this presumptuous and showing a lack of gratitude for anyone giving time and thought to genuine surprise gift? Probably, but it prevents a waste of money on games I'm not going to play or already have. A sensible approach, and one I would adopt if it wasn't for the fact that games ARE expensive and I don't want to make a list that sends the message "I expect you to spend at least this much money"...

Btw, I need to add that the people I got the Harry Potter game from were aware that I had a 3DS and that the DS game would work on it, and they knew that I liked HP, so it was actually a really well thought out gift if it hadn't been for the shovelware trap, but I suppose that's exactly why this stuff exists

How do you track the mana? By keeping an eye on the people's representatives in parliament, particularly on Kris Faafoi

Destry, you are getting ‘Win an Apple phone’ pop ups for this page. Ads already? Next you’ll be asking for ‘support’ and then shut this place down.

The gifter can get something at the right price, the giftee gets something they actually want, and it's all done with minimal effort and thought for both parties. You are right but not everyone has the tech skill or stomach to deal with Amazon.

It's always had adverts (after the first ad-free month anyway). They do tend to be pretty discreet though. And the forum is hosted for free. There is an option to pay for ad-free, but, hey, I'm a cheapskate... EDIT: I don't get pop-ups though.

Evening all, Last day of uni last Friday followed by several days of drinking. Some karaoke on Sunday. Following on Friday's wine chat my only advice is stay away from Lidl's £3 effort. Gaming - currently playing Bravely Default on the 3DS. Loving the ability to turn off random encounters. TV - will be starting my Netflix work through of folks suggestions instead of doing actually uni work. Currently watching some classic Boston on vintage tv Me, BigDave, BigGrant and BigPhil keep an eye on the mana. Something, something, old school, no trouble on the streets, something about respect and nice lads, love their family. They were champions among men. Would also shake your hand and ask after your nan before stabbing you.

For Netflix, do Godless- a slow build to an absolutely blinding climax. Just like Angry’s etc etc

Today I used my cex voucher from fallout & uncharted to buy steep.
I alao bought an oculus rift err reduced to £3 Star Wars Google cardboard vr headset.
Quite amusing but I really need to clean my phone as it shows up smudges quite badly. Destry can you add a 3D plugin to the forum for trailblazers like myself. Currently waiting on the new GTA update to download. Reading on twitter about it. Some space weapon thats a griefers wet dream. Go Rockstar you Muppets.
