Found this posted on the ProBoards support site yesterday: We've recently had reports that users are being redirected to malicious sites, as a result of ads which we are working on to solve with our new ad report which I am inclined to believe is what happened here. I think one thing that's very different is that the BBC series centred on Mangan's performance, while in the other one (it's actually BBC America, I thought it was produced by Netflix) Dirk Gently is one of the weaker characters in an otherwise stellar cast. Once one can accept that it's very enjoyable. I think that might have been the issue. The Dirk gently in the Netflix one is incredibly irritating, I do have alot of time for Elijah wood though. Talking of incredibly quick remakes, did anyone watch the Amazon (?) Mad dogs? I'm tempted to see how it holds up. |

I've been watching Orphan Black on Netflix. It's pretty good. It's got Max Headroom in it. The first season is absolute quality. I really enjoyed it. I can't remember if I stopped watching halfway through the second or third season. Literally just finished watching the first series. It is really good, they keep the plot twists coming and it seems to follow its own logic pretty well considering. The later series seem to have good reviews on the aggregator sites too. Also been watching Black Sails on Amazon. Also good, though they keep killing the good characters and leaving the annoying ones, esp the smirking Michael Hutchence impersonator, alive. |

Hutchence = John Silver. He does abit now you mention it. Just alot smaller. He does a very similar gruff voice too. Sadly I don't think I'm ruining much when I say you're going to have to get used to Silver! I think Rackham might be my favourite. |
