Hi!
How are we? I am bored. Last day in the office and I have no meetings and nothing that can effectively be done that will have any impact before the new year.
Games: Stardew Valley! Im in Spring 2 now, just need one more item for the community centre! A solitary purple cabbage.
TV: I finished Dark on Netflix, I liked it a lot. But need a 2nd series sooner rather than later.

I watched the first episode of Dark at the weekend. I'm worried it's Stranger Things without special effects and with dubbing, but I'll give it a few more episodes before forming an official opinion.

My partner insisted on receiving a terrible Sega Megadrive 80 games in one console for xmas. I explained 40 odd of the games were terrible filler and it was not HDMI, but she insisted. Therefore I have had to fork out another £20 for a HDMI converter which has it's own power source. I bet the thing gets played once on xmas day and then never again. If it's got Toejam and Earl it will all be worth it. |

Personally I think its Stranger Things-ish without all the nostalgia references with the style of a Scandinavian drama thing. But I was hooked from the first episode so you may not like it. Watch it subtitled, its better. |

So how about Catherine getting an updated version for PS4 and Vita? Not something I was expecting at all but I am very pleased, definitely one of the most unique games of the last gen.

So how about Catherine getting an updated version for PS4 and Vita? Not something I was expecting at all but I am very pleased, definitely one of the most unique games of the last gen. Also a remaster of the first one, I think? Very good news. Yesterday I again had some waiting time that I killed by playing Mario. All moons for one (albeit small) area, then revisiting the Hat Kingdom for the first time. Family phone calls in the evening, only ten minutes for Zelda. Beef stroganoff with rice for dinner. |

You need the weekend, you need Friday to look forward to the weekend, you need Monday to feel awful because the weekend is over. Wednesday afternoon you need to curse because the shops are closed, Thursday you can actually do some work because the weekend is near but it's not Friday yet. |

I even managed to upload some to my Flickr page, particularly happy with this one. Then finished the day with some more MST3K. |

Lunch is some m&s chicken and supergrain soup and whatever breaded product I can forrage from in the town.
Possibly a greggs Xmas toastie or perhaps a slice of pizza to dip in my soup. Is that a thing? it is now.

A wee bit of Bravely Default this morning. Also watched a couple of episodes of the good place last night. Ticking along nicely and will hopefully finish the first season this week. The former finance director where I used to work installed a secret camera in the bathroom on the chief execs floor. Which went unseen for at least a year. Somehow he managed to get off with only losing his job and getting community service when they caught him. |
