Well that would be because it wasn't Sutton Coldfield McDonalds. It was McDonalds in Walsall, which I think had only just opened. I'm not sure the one in Sutton was there at the time. We are talking a long long time ago.

I've been out on my bike in the beautiful summer driving wind and rain, and the water appears to have totally farked my phone. At least I did it by misadventure during an attempt at self improvement, rather than chucking it in a toilet. Can anyone recommend a good phone at the budget end of the market?

Motorola G5. I had one until I cracked the screen (it survived quite a lot of dropping prior to breaking). Wish I'd bought another.
I would not recommend buying a Wileyfox, despite the cheapness, quirky name, and London-based company; it's a bit shit.
IPhone wankers.

Sounds like it would sell Chinese boner pills. ...does it? Asking for a friend*. *Yes, you. It's highly possible! I did google the company and it seems genuine, I had intended getting one myself but wound up getting the Samsung Note 4 instead. (I still might get it as a standby).

Go 'off grid' for a while. Like a fugitive. Or spy. Sleep in barns and eat roadkill. Or buy a sweet hog and make love to beautiful women. You're a free spirit now. Good luck.

Just get whatever the current reasonably cheap Samsung is. Job done. It might not be the absolute best or the absolute cheapest, but it will be ok for 3-4 years. And you'll be able to send pretty high def piccies of your dick via whatsapp
I think that i pretty much all you can ask for from a phone. Unless you are a lady, in which case the ability to auto bloc dick pics is probably somewhere on the list.

I just looked up a review for the Gome U7:This does not strike me as progress, unless Rolling stops improving himself by riding his bike in the rain.
If it's an older Samsung model that you are after I've got just the thing with only a slight whiff of toilet cleaner about it.

Just get whatever the current reasonably cheap Samsung is. Job done. I did do a bit of research on Samsung phones to make sure, I typed in 'Samsung Galaxy series wiki' on google and went into the note series and check them out. My priorities were camera, internal storage, external storage, removable battery and ram. the note 4 came trumps on average, the note 8 & 9 are good phones but with a 12 MP camera a bit short on expectations despite ram and graphics. and I only paid around £155 on a deal, including free Charger, screen glass and a flip case. (B rated no box). (That said other persons have stated the note 3 to be the better phone)..
