Zipcar have been rolling out the eGolf round here for the last year and I finally got to drive it. Made the mistake of flooring it on the Embankment - think I was doing fifty in a 30 zone. Need to try it out on a long trip.

Gave the Preferred Mammal a choice between Steak with Stilton sauce, green beans and Jersey Royals or mackerel* and pasta and they chose the one where I actually have to do something, sometimes life is just not fair.
*Canned spicy mackerel

Damn my innate wonderfulness, the sauce take ages, reduce white wine with peppercorns slowly add double cream and then introduce the Stilton and then cook the steak to perfection* <edit> It is a damn good sauce, 125ml white wine with 8, (not 9 or 10), peppercorns reduced by 2/3 then remove the peppercorns add 30 mls of double cream, 50g of blue cheese, if too thick add milk, full fat of course, change proportions as seems fit * perfection depends on how one likes their steak, of course anything over medium rare is wrong

A murder got done in my local maccy D's a while back. A young lad who worked there got sacked, then went back and stabbed his boss.
The rumour at the time was that he got fired was for wanking into the mcflurry machine, although now I think about it I may have made that up. Then perpetuated it.

So no need for MASSIVE trucks for landfill.

So not going to try the Big Bad in Octopussy? I tried 3 times, got close once then gave up, what I take away from it is, don't bother. It's not fun and there is too much rng.
