A heavenly body... Recorded June 1972 – January 1973 "Apollo 17 (December 7-19, 1972) was the final mission of NASA's Apollo program; it remains the most recent [and last] time humans have travelled beyond low Earth orbit." - Wikipedia For me it was associated with the triumph of materialism over inspiration; the small- and narrow-minded over the visionary. And so the lyrics have additional resonance for me.

On a work away day so public transport it is. What would be the most inappropriate TV to have on full blast? Games, back to divinity os to see if I can clear the gaming backlog.

Babylon Zoo had the best space song.
I watched Good Girls and Jessica Jones last night and played no games.
It's also raining again.

Morning All!
I'm back after almost two weeks off.
Games? Nope. Unless you count mobile games (FFBE and Brown Dust for those who partake).
OTTM? Yep, I went to Wales and Italy. One was awesome, the other was Wales.
Saw Rhod Gilbert in Cardiff (who was very good) before going across to Aberystwyth.
In Italy we visited the same region as a few years back, Castelli Romani (Frascati, in particular), just on the outskirts of Rome. Can't recommend the area enough. Lovely weather (well, a little too hot at times but difficult to complain about that), lovely wine and lovely people. As we did all the Rome stuff last time around, this time we did the outlying towns. Visits to Hadrian's Villa and the Pope's Summer residence being particular highlights.
And now, work. Ffs.
Edit: Oh, and Squenix killed E3 for me. FF7 Remake looking awesome and FF8 remastered being announced in one show? Hyped doesn't quite cover it. Games chat!

It's the far side of the moon. Half the moon is dark at any one point, with that half changing as it rotates. There is no permanently dark side of the moon.

Morning all.
The gods were at war last night in the heavens above Sussex. Thunderballs and lightning, very very frightening.
I was going to do some coding, but decided not to switch the Amiga on while electricity arced across the sky.
TVblog - 30 Rock.
OTTM - tiling done in the front bay window. Just need the last bit of grouting in there.

ConchordWelcome back! FF Remixes did look good, I've never really got into the series though. I'm surprised it wasn't animal crossing for you, it looks like they've stolen a lot from stardew valley, the GOAT

Conchord Welcome back! FF Remixes did look good, I've never really got into the series though. I'm surprised it wasn't animal crossing for you, it looks like they've stolen a lot from stardew valley, the GOAT Oh, Animal Crossing has been on my list before they even confirmed one was coming for the Switch. The Gamecube one had me hooked and I've only managed to avoid the rest by not owning the console they were on until it had passed by. The FF7 remake though, hadn't really impressed in the previous trailers. The latest ones though, very nice. And it's not just because Tifa, honest. Also, FF8 is my favourite so the fact that they've 'found the source code' is exciting. Just hope the remaster sells well so they consider a remake after FF7, even if I will be 50 by the time it releases. I used to play FFBE and Lineage II but stopped as I'm perfect for gacha games and spent way too much, been clean for over a year now. Yeah, I know what you mean, I'm awful with gacha games. I always seem to get one of the 'best' units in the free pulls early on which immediately gets my attention, along with my wallet.

Top Moon:
Transformers, Dark of the
Games:
Its that time of year again, I've ordered a brace of games to be delivered by a game truck and installed in a new wing of our lodgings purpose built to house the coming of the games. Judgement, Shodown, Crash, all the games.
Shodown looks tree-mendous, as does Judgement, which I've seen described as a J-drama in game form. Its probably just more Yakuza, but hopefully with less of the pervy stuff so I can play it infront of <I>the wife</I>. Crash team racing is a shot in the dank, but its supposedly a top karting game.
OTTM:
Anyone been watching Rabbit? I think its great, despite what the Guardian has to say about it.
He's got the taste! The taste!

Some bellend on the legacy box (possibly you) referred to their partner as the wife (italics included) once. It was such a monumentally bellend-ish thing to do that I appropriated it to lampoon them, but I think by this point everyone has forgotten just thinks its me being a bellend.
I thought <I> was the italics tag on here but apparently not.

Idea for a television series - Botton moon: Alain de Botton talks about the history of the moon, from medieval werewolf hunts to modern day astronauts and space tourists.
