Has anyone used an online piano lesson? Any thoughts/recommendations?
<edit>Sorry I should have asked, "Top 5 apps for learning the piano?".

Felice there, inspired by the classical music conversation yesterday.
The piano is quite difficult, have you thought about trying a CD instead?

Hold on a minute.
I pretty sure it's accepted scientific fact that the Aliens built, and therefore own, Stonehenge.
So much FAKE News these days.

The BigG memorial award should probably be left in the cupboard. Or in the closet, hang on that's not right. What's going on?

"In ancient times, Hundreds of years before the dawn of history Lived a strange race of people, the Druids No one knows who they were or what they were doing But their legacy remains Hewn into the living rock, of Stonehenge Stonehenge! Where the demons dwell Where the banshees live and they do live well Stonehenge! Where a man's a man And the children dance to the Pipes of Pan" No mention of aliens in the text, I'm afraid.

Good evening, I have a full pack of chocolate hobnobs, half a cup of tea; it's getting dark, and I'm not wearing sunglasses.

I hear the Chubb family were also awarded Freedom of the entirety of the country, using some sort of key...

You know what the best thing about ITV4 is?
The adverts. Seemingly every ten minutes, and primarily gambling ads.

Interesting to see that the Scotland women's team can screw up just as well as the men

I feel sorry for Stewart Pearson.
I've spent ten years detoxifying this party. It's been a bit like renovating an old, old house, yeah? You can take out a sexist beam here, a callous window there, replace the odd homophobic roof tile. But after a while you realise that this renovation is doomed. Because the foundations are built on what I can only describe as a solid bed of cunts.

I've seen Scotland at a major Championship. They even won the game. 1-0 v Switzerland at Euro 96. Obviously it wasn't enough and they missed out by one goal.
It is the only football international i've ever been to.

The only match I've seen when the Sots were cheering on England.

It was. McCoist missed a load of decent chances for Scotland as well. it became clear the Dutch were getting tonked by England and it was suddenly possible for Scotland to qualify. At that point they froze. That was pretty much the last half decent Scotland side.

Must admit I laughed a lot, I don't suddenly become British when England get knocked out* and with the Scottish vehemence against England I think it would be petty not to reciprocate. Having said that I did defend Jamie Murray to a bunch of blokes in a pub when he said he "...supported anyone against England..."** for his honesty, it was a shame he rolled back the comment later. Football aside, I do support the home nations unless they're against Canada *I generally switch to Germany **Or something similar

Iirc it was Andy Murray in a joint press conference with Henman, and he was responding in like manner to a joke from Henman about Scotland. It was pretty clearly a joke between two friends, but it got blown up in a mischievous way by the press - I guess it's a powerful narrative. In real life I don't know anyone who 'hates' England beyond the usual parameters of football rivalry, and not many who care even that much...
On the other hand, I am still pretty angry about some of the McCoist misses in that Switzerland game.
