The nurse has just been and gone - the bastard poured the water from the treatment wash so it went down the side of the loo as well as into the bowl... and just left a puddle on the floor without even telling me.

I've now got to wash out my bathroom floor, steam clean it, all the mats are in the laundry; just as well I always look otherwise the bandaging on my feet would act like sponges soaking up the foul mixture of treatment water and loo floor rubbish and holding the evil mixture next to the ulceration on my feet. *sigh*

Got to sort this out without falling over, passing out etc. I'm Chris Brown angry, which might just impel me through the noisome task safely ...

Today we fell out over how the bike rack attached to the car. I stayed behind and worked it out while they went cycling. TBF I've only fitted it once before about 6 weeks ago. And I knew what Mrs C said was wrong.

Making burgers for Dinner. My sister gave me a burger press thing for Xmas I've never used. Lets you do stuffed burgers so will give that a go.

As someone who has failed to make a decent burger I am extremely interested in a gadget that is effective, please let us know how it works out, what the make was and whether it is worth the money; if that's not too much to ask.

Worth the money? Nah. If you look on Amazon for the 'Twisted Chef' burger press. It's £20. There are other brands exactly the same for half the money. A tenner. Yeah maybe.

It worked well. I made turkey burgers (I know, I know) and they kept their shape throughout. I did them in the oven and finished in a griddle pan thing. I only made one stuffed with cheese and would do more like that next time. Will try red meat next time as well.

Chumbles I'm also angry from reading what you are going through. I had a similar task yesterday due to a chain of events that I'd like to keep unspecified, suffice it to say that the words "irritable bowel syndrome" and "diarrhoea" strike terror in my heart. I was left scrubbing the bathroom floor, scrubbing the Preferred Mammal's sandals and getting a footprint of something unmentionable any CSI department would congratulate themselves on out of a carpet. Particularly cleaning the profile of the sandals could probably be classed as torture under the Geneva Conventions. I'm still not sure when I will be able to hold a controller again. No Mario Kart for me for some time.

This came after another series of events resulted in me trying to guide an Irish youth, who had to assure me that he had passed his driving test, in our car through the rush hour in Birmingham city centre on Friday. He needed reminding not to set off every speed camera on the way and, just as we were almost back to safety, nearly crashed the car by moving into oncoming traffic. My hair is still standing on end (makes styling difficult) and I needed a stiff drink or three.

The last two nights I haven't slept very well and am pretty tired. I'm even too tired to take sides in the Great Condiments War.*

*Edit: I had, however, an egg mayonnaise baguette for lunch. Make of this what you will.

It's not just austerity. The deliberate underfunding and damage to the NHS, while pretending it isn't happening is criminal.

If you wish to freeze the burgers or perhaps evenly portion out the meat then they are handy.

The only problem being that the alternative,  Boris Johnson, may be even worse.

Johnson is a retail sociopath. He might not be a wholesale one*.
We know Hunt is a wholesale sociopath.

* I know I'm kidding myself. But one of these lights has to be the end of the tunnel right? Not just someone else coming to run us over.
