Yeah I think it's around a 1080ti, I just need it to hit 144 FPS for PUBG and Apex Legends at 1440p which is should do with one or two things dialed down. More than ever I think the really high end Nvidia cards are terrible value at the moment. Yeah, they're not doing themselves many favours. It seems a little suspect that 1080ti's seem to have disappeared from shops/ websites, too. I got mine on Ebay, bit risky but haven't had any problems so far. |

Eurgh, AMD. Jokes aside. That's about equivalent with a 1080ti, right? Very nice. I keep eyeing up the 2080ti but fear 8 months is a little too soon to upgrade, that's before I even consider how I'd pay for it (they're still obscenely over priced, but the Aorus closed loop is very pretty . . .). I want to at least make it to my one year anniversary before she files for divorce. All this graphics card nonsense! You get all these graphics card people don’t you? You know, graphics card this, graphics card that! Let’s get an AMD 5700 xt, let’s get an NVidia 1080i! Oooh that’s a snazzy vertex! Oooh this does, I don’t know, 4K! If you do the quest up until getting Johnny his voice back, then go to the whispering hillock and release the spirit, children get saved, Anna doesn’t get blamed, Baron lives, inhabitants of Downwarren get slaughtered but they had it coming to them. “Good” ending. |

Another thumbs up for Horizon ps+ racing game.
I've just got the third area of Chile left to get all the super cups for the first two areas. Pretty impressive for an old, cack handed slug like me, I'm sure you'll agree.

I got the collection and completed bioshock again earlier this year. But got bioshock fatigue so gave up on bioshock 2 after an hour. Say bioshock Tuffers.
I also have Witcher 3 on disc (calm down grandad) but only played a few hours. I think I bought it due to the praise from the old chatterbox. Maybe I'll play it at some point.

Some of us still have to wait until Switcher 3 squeezes onto our console later this year.*
I was hoping that the biblical thunderstorm last night would actually smite and drown us all so that we didn't have to wake up to BoJo getting the keys to Number 10. Poor Queen, imagine having to listen to pifflepafflewifflewaffle on a regular basis from now on.**
Ganes: DQB2, mainly exploring in the opposite direction of where I'm supposed to go. My character is now maxed out already, I didn't know there was a cap per chapter, but it seems fair considering how easy it is to gain XP. At one point I was worried about running out of food, but I just got out my portable workbench, threw down a couple of bonfires and blam! freshly baked bread.
That is all.
*I won't remember any of this anyway. Carry on as you were.
**edit: I mean in addition to the pifflepafflewifflewaffle we'll all have to endure.

I downloaded and played through Lords of Waterdeep when it first came out on the App Store - been meaning to go back and get Doomdarks Revenge. So have just done so. You can get Doomdark's Revenge too? Hooooo mama. I still shudder when I think of how much work in the garden my parents made me do to earn the money to buy that game. |

Yesterday I played a single laggy game of Fortnite and made the top ten. I didn't really have a chance in an actual fight, because lag and incompetence.
This morning the broadband at home is down, presumably because of the lightning. End times.
