Why is it only 4 days? Is it because we were expected to beat Ireland easily? Ironically we may just play out a draw in 4 days if both sides bat well from this point. More good news: Ireland seem to be playing their part in achieving your planned draw. A mighty 16 for no wicket. If they can manage 475 by close of play tomorrow then England can spend Friday and half of Saturday reaching 650 before Ireland play out a nice slow paced 100 to see out the draw. I am sure the above is exactly is how things will play out.

Are you missing Cleggie yet? Yes, although he had a terrible attendance record in parliament too.

Are you missing Cleggie yet? Yes, although he had a terrible attendance record in parliament too. Whilst he may be suffering mental health problems, that's no reason why his constituents should be denied representation in parliament - it's not as though they voted for him. Oh. Sounds like most sitting MPs; given that background it's only a surprise that JarO'M refused the Labour whip.

I've finally got the new desk set up in the study for my Amigas. It looks mighty fine.
Next step is to put some shelves up, basically mirroring the opposite wall shelves.
Thought I'd just keep you all in the loop.

I have flogged myself through all the stuff I needed to get done today and tomorrow by 2pm... I will not be doing anything apart from simulating a beached whale ... I will be sleeping for 36 hrs.

Destry is always the first with the death notices, a suspicious person, not me, may wonder about that and the rumour that he rents his garage to Mr Tiddles is obviously absurd.

Greetings. I have returned from the pub where I was trying to compensate for the formation of our new government by drinking cold beer and eating nice food in the pub garden. It did not entirely succeed in taking my mind off politics, but at least it stopped the screaming. Full of beer and food, I'm ready to join Chumbles in beached whale mode.
However! Good news about my recent Euro Car Park fine at said pub: I showed the letter to the gaffer who told me he would sort things out if I bring him details of the 85 quid financial transactions so that I can get the money back! And the beauty of that is, of course, that it's a good excuse for drinking at the pub again in these challenging times.
Now I'm going to have a look at the e-shop summer sale, as they are pointing out that 45 games from my Watch List are on sale. 45! I haven't kept track of anything since DQB2 came out. I mean, what did they expect? I can't stop to look at sales, I got places to be and stuff to build.

I have 23 games* on my Steam watch list and now feel a fraud and mildly inadequate. *some of them are just "expansions" and "add-on", oh the pain. <edit>I just realised that tenthenemy 's 45 are just the ones on sale, how big** is this list? <edit><edit>**long

As a tribute, I'm going to spend the evening repeatedly quoting the tears in rain speech, but in a range of different celebrity impersonations. I'll probably be divorced or murdered by the morning, but it will be worth it.

It's just the thing you do when you get to his age, you sit around drink tea and go "didn't you hear so and so died? "Shame" *Silence*
