Morning!
Cover shift time so a colleague can go watch the mighty Boro get battered again.
Missed much? Thought not.
Anyways, games! Realised I couldn't be arsed to collect/ breed every monster in Dragon Quest Monsters, so dropped it. Although this was after finishing the story so don't feel too bad about that.
Tried NMS update. Was good, but didn't hold my attention for long. The problem there could've been starting again, I probably should've just picked up where I left off.
Tried Neverwinter, as it was promoted in the PS shop and I'm a sucker for MMOs, and enjoyed it for a little while, but then I started looking at the in app purchases and decided to back away before the credit card came out.
So, finally got around to starting the Division 2. It's pretty good. I really enjoyed the first one so more of the same is not a bad thing. What was a bad thing, though, was the sound issues. Really annoying having to restart the game every hour because gun shots stop making noise. Especially when it takes 10 mins to get back in. Still, I persevered and hit max level, just in time for a patch that fixed said issues. Timing, eh? Now finishing up the last couple of areas* before finishing the story and, I assume, starting the gear grind. Saying that, though, WoW Classic launches Monday so can see me hitting that for a few weeks.
TV! Not a lot. Started Manifest. Seems a bit shit, but I'll persevere as the wife seems to like it and it might get better.
OTTM! Local beer festival tomorrow. Last one was good drunken fun so I'm quite looking forward to it.
*Just control points, caches and a few events mind. Fuck grabbing all collectibles (even though I may have done that in Div1, I am not doing it again).
Tl;dr: lots of games played, lots of booze tomorrow.

No, docking is bringing a water-based craft into port, or by extension precisely fitting together any other two objects designed to fit snugly, e.g. a laptop and a docking station.
Edit: I'm not googling docking. I'm not sure I want to know.

I joined conchord in a game of Division 2 last night by accident. But as he was level 29 I made my excuses and left immediately. Joined my level 7 pal instead. Dirty casual.
Just been to Halfords and got the child a new scooter. A Mongoose one. Conflicting Info on the website, the item ticket and the item box. Fucking Halfords.

I'm late awake after my post breakfast kip; clock has stopped so I kept turning over... horrible nightmare where I was ambling, befuddled through a park and realised I dropped my coat because of the heat. tenthenemy, our 4k resident probably knows this, but for blokes like me a coat functions like a handbag... So I was missing my keys, wallet, mints, paperback, the £20 note sewn into the lining ... I'm still recovering from that. |
