Hello.
Various alarms and excursions of disability healthcare nature last night resulting in advanced bedtime around 3 a.m. I made up for this by lying in bed and listening to the colossal downpour outside my window and not being able to sleep until 8. My alarm went off at 10. I feel like I'm able to see through space and time but mainly tired.
Earlier in the evening I removed my Dragon Quest Builders 2 cartridge from my Switch and inserted the Link's Awakening one. I started playing without headphones so that the Preferred Mammal would get some entertainment out of it. I haven't got far at all - basically just picked up my sword, got the first heart piece and secret seashell, because I kept gawking at all the little details, like the toys and crayon drawings in the house of the quadruplets, and the Japanese style low table and seats with a Japanese teapot and cups in Tarin's and Marin's house. Also noticed that the books in the library are Japanese books with the spine on the right. It looks utterly charming and Preferred Mammal already digs the music. And Link's little feet leaving little footprints in the sand... I'm dying of cutesiness. But mainly of tiredness.

I remember drawing maps for games on the spectrum. Nothing like this though: (One for you tenthenemy) 20 years ago! That's some map. Clearly he played the colour version first. Edit: yep, he posted another picture with his old copy of the game. And other people posted pictures of their own maps and even their notes from way back when! I've never been that organised. The only two Zelda games I have ever taken notes with were the Oracle games with their flipping secrets. |

Poor girl - it doesn't look much Funberg being a Thunberg... of all her pictures the ones where she's at sea separated by water from them are the ones she smiles the most... |
