I'm not normally squeamish, but the thought of eyeball surgery under local anaesthetic puts the willies right up me. Too much Clockwork Orange. I know! Mr Tent Rooster earned a bravery badge on both occasions. He says the worst bit is when they give you the anaesthetic as you can see the needle coming directly towards your eye... gulp... He's very brave. Not that he had a choice.

But seriously Gong. Hope it all works out.

Tonight I am cooking two dishes; spag bol for my daughters and chilli con carne for Mrs D and me. And I have taken a tip from Tom Kerridge (he of the £32.50 Fish and chip supper) and pre-browned the mince in the oven for an hour until it resembles coffee granules before adding it to the two dishes. I'm interested to see if it makes a difference. Interested in how the baked mince (oooh mince) turns out. I read that article too. Planning chilli for Monday night and would like to try if verdict good. OTTM: I have Monday off so Mondays early start is delayed til Tuesday. Gamez (pronounced hamez) : more Detroit, the graphics in 4k are riddick. Very walking movie, but tremendous, and disturbing. 4*

Baked mince: Mrs D and I felt it added something to the chilli. But my daughters felt it added a lot more depth of flavour to the Bolognese sauce.
So, overall, worth it if you have the time.

Mrs C's mum has done this for years. even plain mince she does like that. She's the best cook I've ever known. If you've got the time I'd say do it.

Porridge with Banana & honey. Toasted muffin, all the coffee.
Hello. Fillums. The Netflix Ted Bundy thing with Zac Efron.
Games. Side missions in Division 2. Tried the pvp. They all had exotic guns and armour etc so I died. A lot. Don't mind dying a lot if it's just they're better than me. But mainly as they've better builds and gear? Fuck that.

Hello crankcaller. Hello tenthenemy. Hello everyone else. TVblog - South Park on Netflix. So, so wrong. Then TNG, and Sarek is on board. Some class-A emoting by Sir Patrick. Amigablog - I've moved the accelerator card from one desktop 1200 to the other (like an admiral moving his flag). This means I can play any of the games from "hard drive" in the machine - so I played Chaos Engine. That is a game that is still absolutely brilliant. And tricky.

I watched Scott Tenorman Must Die, timeless classic.

I remember Chaos Engine as being too difficult to be fun. That's probably just because I was shit at it.
