I had a Spoon's breakfast.
(Cereal, not pub.)
Ganes: Now up to speed with the dungeon maker challenges in Link's Awakening; did the three heart run and the swordless challenge with nary a scratch. Now off to the eighth dungeon, but I can already see that the rapids ride race is going to be a major obstacle for me in getting 100%. I need to git gud, but it's too expensive and one can only recoup half of the money. Meh.
Change in plans for this evening after YouTuber Andrew Eisen posted this video yesterday:
Instead of doing his weekly podcast (at a time that corresponds to the middle of the night to us) he's going to do a Let's Play of A Hat in Time on YouTube and Twitch at the suggestion of his loyal Patron Brian (who also resides on this side of the pond). So that's what I'll be watching at 8 pm tonight. I liked all of Brian's suggestions and I was really happy to hear that other people have also played Gorogoa, which I can warmly recommend. 4 stars, etc.

Although dippy eggs and soldiers are his favourite, I recently had to explain the term "soldiers" to the Preferred Mammal as he wasn't familiar with it. Sometimes I feel he lives on the moon. Which might be made of cheese, not that he would notice.

The moon is made of Wensleydale. I know this to be a fact as I read it on the Wiki.

I remember Chaos Engine as being too difficult to be fun. That's probably just because I was shit at it. It is tricky. I got up to level four, then was overwhelmed by human-sized lizards. There is certainly a knack to it though. Move and fire.

I'm going to the tip with a friend who has a manual job to help him with lifting of heavy old white goods.

I used to work with someone who got his hand caught in a spring when chucking a sofa over the side into the tip, and lost his index finger. I'm sure Shenguin will be fine though. Nothing to worry about.

The so-called dark side of the moon is merely the side that constantly faces away from Earth. It receives just as much sunlight as the side that faces us, and in fact shines more brightly because a much lower proportion of its surface is covered with darker basaltic* lava flow features. *A traditional handmade cheese from North Africa.
