Morning all.
Yesterday was my one and only day in the office. I shan't be back there for eight days.
Gamesblog - snarf.
TVblog - TNG, and Klingon High Council shenanigans abound. Poor Worf.
OTTM - caught up with a mate, and we lamented at the state of British politics for a good couple of hours. Cathartic.

My daughter this morning was talking about trick or treating.

Games: I have killed Mouthpiece in BL3 and now have to fuel up a bio car or something. They have skill based matchmaking in PUBG which made quite a difference last night for my brother and I as we picked loads of kills and a second place. I also won another game of Apex Legends.
Telly: Bake Off
OTTM: Halloween shenanigans today and tomorrow with the kid.

I've successfully managed to get out of halloween this year. Mrs faceless is taking the offspring to her mates out in the sticks, and due to me being unable* to get out of work early I won't be able to make it. Win.
Games: 5 minutes of Obra Dinn. Enough to conclude that it is absolutely no fun.
Episodes of the Punisher: One.

Last night I caved and joined Game Pass for PC, and downloaded Outer Worlds. Good fun, big NV/Borderlands vibes from it so far. Nearly got torn apart by some gorilla things, so ran away.

A local venue just mailed me a flyer which caught my eye. Anyone heard of this lot? I'm at work so am not going to youtube it, but if Australian sub pub punk shed-rock sounds like your kind of thing then check the tour dates.
I'm sure our beloved Prudy01 Admin can make use of it as a header for a future box

Wait, that came out wrong.
I'm currently waiting for the postman to deliver my copy of Luigi's Mansion 3. I didn't want to get it because you might have noticed that I have one or two games too many, but I felt very bad when I realised that the physical copies that come with a plush Boo were sold out in no time. They only had the ones with a glow-in-the-dark Polterpup keyring. However, it still comes with a rad steelbook.
So I caved in a few days ago.
Last night the Mammal and I watched an episode of Midsomer Murders in which the village postman was murdered, so this morning we were discussing what we would do if the same fate befell our post(wo)man. We decided that we didn't care as long as they delivered the game first, but then the mammal remembered that he would quite like his copy of the New Statesman delivered tomorrow, so maybe it's altogether better to postpone it to the weekend.
Luigi's Mansion 3 is the ideal game for Halloween, so I'll be playing Mario Maker 2. I'm still getting sidetracked by the story mode.
The picture of The Chats looks exactly like one of these humorous recreations of childhood photos with grown-ups of a recent picture with my grandchildren in a shopping trolley.
Talking about "candy" is the worst, especially when it includes chocolate. That is NOT "candy". Candy is something that's 217% sugar.
