Ive also just left first planet in TOW. Had a choice to make and The NPCs were playing my heart like a spanish guitar, in the end I felt I was getting too close to Parvati too soon, so did the opposite of what she recommended. Things almost became unsalvagable with her when I murdered someone she apparently cares about but once I smoothed things over with her, she joined in the killing of everyone else with enthusiasm. Picked up one other follower who went straight to the ship and get the feeling I missed out a bunch of stuff, didnt realise all the side stuff would disappear when I pulled the switch on main quest. Not found a definite favourite weapon yet, but the scoped assault rifle made light work of some gorilla things. Not crafted anything fun yet either.

TOW worth getting? Nioh looks good from psp plus next week. Is it worth working through a game backlog and waiting for fallen order or cyberpunk to come out? Fnv was great but then if tow doesn't meet the hype it might be a bit of a let down.

Which groups might they mean? Vigilantes? Malfunctioning mechs? This quote answers the question: "This game checks all the boxes for the woke politics crowd which includes 98% of journalists." Are you all the 2% non-journalists, highly concentrated in a Chatterbox? Edit: Hang on, I misunderstood that lovely person. They said 98% of journalists, not 98% of the woke politics crowd. Just carry on with your woke politics. From the same poster: https://www.reddit.com/r/pcgaming/comments/dk4vnc/crusader_kings_3_wont_include_deus_vult_and/f4n2w8l/

TOW is great but fairly light in some respects: you can’t go full RPG fashion week, for example. Good writing and will be worth a few replays to explore options.

TOW lacks the impenetrability of a good RPG system. There should be at least one mechanic you never understand, no matter how many times you play the game.

It is very much a 'popular game' rather than one for the purist. On the plus side this does mean it is playable and enjoyable and at least one QA person was employed.

Hullo, I overslept by 2 hours. Must be Brexit fatigue.
That's it.

Morning Everyone.
I think I may also have Brexit fatigue.
Why does Tent Hen think we're woke? I almost made a racist joke on here the other day, but then I didn't. Does that make me woke?

TOW lacks the impenetrability of a good RPG system. There should be at least one mechanic you never understand, no matter how many times you play the game. even better if, instead of a name, it’s got some sort of arcane symbol that bears absolutely no relation to the stat or effect in question. “You can’t beat this boss unless you level up your ~}{~ to 30”.

Racist jokes? I'd thought being woke had something to do with all the caffeine that's sloshing around here. Edit: Having a coffee might also combat your Brexit fatigue.

You can if you hit it a lot with the pointy end of the stick. I have rarely met a boss that didn't respond to being hit with the pointy end of a stick.

I think have worked out why that backpacker drowned. From the photo it appears she attempted to swim from Prague to Vietnam via Cambodia while drunk.

Afternoon all,
Last night I carved a design from a Greek vase onto a pumpkin. Tonight I shall do it again.
Also watched Scream. 4 stars.

It is likely to be pretty cheap as well.

The mechanicals were absurdly easy to kill with the appropraite weapon. If I wasnt 5 hours in already I'd be tempted to start again. It was slightly challenging till I got some okish armour. Havent eaten any food or drink/potion stuff either yet.

I’m sure I’ve got my character all wrong, but I’ll Respec if necessary
