Brisk trade in Halloween sweets tonight. Judging by the attire of customers so far vampires are in, princess vampires are definitely in, Boris Johnson masks are out. At least I haven't seen any; maybe later when the crowds are more adult.

Evening! Very few knocks at the door before I left for work means a night shift full of sweets for Conchord. Drumstick Squashies might be a new favourite. RollingEscargot, yes I have completed TOW. I had a week off and fuck all to do. Also I'm a massive nerd. Considering a full stealth play through next, rather than the hybrid I did last time. The only criticism I had of the game is that xp is too easy to come by. Every route seemed open to me at most times, with only a few conversations or locks needing 100 skill level to use. Also, the perks were a little weak. My one tip, don't take the robophobia flaw if you want to use SAM. Seems obvious in hindsight. |

I spent the afternoon in a cultural awareness seminar with some absolutely elite level wokesters. I looked bad when I tried to join in and got some of the easy questions wrong. Then when I was out with my kid guising this evening I made a harmless joke to the mother of a child who had 'blacked up' for his ninja costume. All i said was that it was probably fine as long as he didn't have plans to become prime minister of Canada. She just glared at me. So bring it on Shenguin, I am definitely the target audience for your joke. |
