From someone on Twitter:
"Got some sad news today. After 7 years of medical training, my good friend has been struck off after 1 minor indiscretion. He slept with 1 of his patients & now can no longer work in the job he loves. What a waste of time, training & money. A genuinely nice guy, and a brilliant vet."

Anyone coming up with a top five gory list? Might be tw3 again for me. TV Witcher is making want to go back but only just finished it again.

This year I'm having a solo Christmas You lucky bastard. I always bottled out of that before MrsC came on the scene. It would have involved a big lie to my mum about what I was doing as she'd have taken the huff. Wish I'd done it at least once. Pile of m&s food and huge bag of err Xmas herbs. I made the mistake this lunchtime of popping into Tesco for a sandwich.

Solo Christmas sounds fantastic. I did have a solo Boxing Day to new year once, it was terrific. Big five bedroom flat all to myself, M&S ready meals and Wii and PS3. Top banana.
Video James - moor of Neverwinter nights, went into a house and immediately had a massive orc with an axe and two dogs baring down on me, turned around and ran out the door. Turns out they can’t go through doors. Had a rest, went back in, perhaps a little too confident if anything, and was smashed into oblivion in a single swing of the axe. lovely stuff
Also some more Autochess, managed to come fourth in knockout mode which is the highest I’ve managed in the Dota chess.

My god.
Tesco
The Horror!
You know what it's like when you find a pack of frozen cauliflower in the drinks aisle next to a stack of discounted slabs of Stella, and think ' ah a decision was made here'? I was elbowing my way down the sauce aisle (oo errr), when I couldn't help noticing the small boy, couldn't have been more than 3, sitting on a shelf at eye level, on what can only be described as a throne apparently made of 4-packs of baked beans. He seemed quite happy on his perch so I left him there. That place gave me claustrophobia as a 6 foot male so I can only imagine what it must have been like for him at knee height.

I've downloaded Don't Starve to occupy the kids and they've been on it for 3 hours solid. Weapons grade parenting.

Blooxborne
Turns out the theory I should be able to do NG+6 was well grounded. Smashed up Gehrman second go. Bit lucky as I was down to 0 vials.
The Moon presence took a few more goes. But once I remembered how to avoid its attacks ir is a straightforward fight.
NG+7? It is tempting, but as the game does not get any harder I can resist.

No amipal today? Ah yes, it was the Escape to the Chateau Christmas Special yesterday. He's probably been in the shed overnight, head in hands, rocking back and forth in a chair and then gone on a feral rampage. It's a possibility. That's what you think! Luckily for me, my partner wants to watch The Witcher at the moment, meaning any TV time is for that. Thank you, Netflix!

Hi! Everybody been watchering The Witcher? I like it, pretty good fights. Lots of scenery and game references that are making me want to go back and do a playthrough. Yennifer is more yennifery than I thought she looked when they announced the casting.
However...
SPOILERS
The immersion has been totally ruined by getting to episode 8 and yet no one has invited Geralt to a game of Gwent yet, despite being in numerous taverns.
I saw it through in a binge session, no complaints as such so far, pretty good entertainment value..

Witcher, at this point in the story he has yet to learn Barrel, then moves on to dice poker and then Gwent.

Witcher, at this point in the story he has yet to learn Barrel, then moves on to dice poker and then Gwent. I got a bit thrown by the whole timeline thing. I was sort of unaware that we were watching both the past and the present until about episode3 and got very confused when people that were dead already were back.
There seemed to be about 30 years between one of the episodes and the next that I only knew about because of Yennifer maoning about something that happened 'decades ago'. Am on episode 8 now and as far as I know the timelines are now in sync? I hope....

Good job I got in early on the cheap Xmas cards. Some of them will double up for Chinese New Year as well.
