Hello. Had to go back home this morning to grab the presents for my fam I'm handing over later. I'd only got to the top of the street but it's made me late.
Games. Not really. Bit of Div2. Heart wasn't in it.
Fillums. For some reason I decided it was a good idea to rent the latest Gerard Butler thing. It was 99p and was terrible. New it would be.
Visits to bottom of garden. A couple.
Want today over. Hoping to bolt at 4.

I am seeing star wars 9 today. According to the btl community on the G it's either the most racist or most PC film ever made. I just hope the Lego man, the pedal bin and the space hairdresser are in it.

Chatting to MrsC's brother in law yesterday. He works in mo-cap and they did some work for Industrial Light & Magic. They went to a preview of the SW film and he said the ILM geeks were clapping the FX they did. Breathtaking arrogance. Though probably justified.

Today is my Monday, and I am working at work.
HDM: fell asleep after 5 minutes. I'm fine with the lack of daemons, but McAvoy as Asriel can fuck off. Will probably watch the rest of it later.
Ganes: Outer Wilds. Only played about an hour but first impressions are very good. A very relaxing game.
Xmas shopping: still not finished.

Today is my Monday so no work, although as mrs g has nominated me as veg-shopper I am dosing myself up with hot lava java and preparing to hit Tesco. I have the kind of feeling you get when finding a room full of power ups and ammo, and you just know there's a monumental boss fight just around the corner.

We were out for lunch on Sat with my sis & fam and my mum's partner. Afterwards they left to go to the Lego store so my nephew's grandad could get him something.
He got a car of some description. They've got some AR thing now where you stand in front of a mirror. The pieces come out the box and it's assembled in front of you. It then drives round about you and goes back to the box and explodes inside again. Fucks sake. That would blow your mind as a kid.

Got another delivery from Jeff but this particular Sam Porter Bridges obviously had a crafty fag or two in his van and now all my presents reek of smoke.
Death Stranding (or any other game) could have had a "Chain Smoker" difficulty setting in which Sam is constantly gasping for a smoke and you'll have to monitor nicotine levels whilst trying to sneak past the BTs.

I want to know more about the pigeon please MrTiddles . My wife found a pigeon wandering around last Tuesday. Had a busted wing and some bloody grazing on the back of it's neck. She went to get something out of the shed, the pigeon snuck in there. Was enticed out by food. She built it a little house in our courtyard and fed/watered it daily but it wouldn't fuck off. On Saturday we got hold of someone runs a bird sanctuary/hospice who came round, gave it the once over and took it away. The lady said she couldn't stay for too long as she had a hawk in the back of her car. She did say that if we hadn't housed it, the seagulls/cats/Kins would have scoffed it. |

I like this idea. Constantly walking around looking for fag butts outside shops, bus stops etc. Accidently picking up a joint butt by mistake could lead to some interesting gameplay. |

This year I'm having a solo Christmas while preferred mammal goes to see family, last time was too annoying and I rowed myself out this year, it's Roast Beef and all the stuff washed down with a bottle of Saint Emilion Grand Cru.
I will also watch Scrooged as is my tradition.

Hi! Everybody been watchering The Witcher? I like it, pretty good fights. Lots of scenery and game references that are making me want to go back and do a playthrough. Yennifer is more yennifery than I thought she looked when they announced the casting.
However...
SPOILERS
The immersion has been totally ruined by getting to episode 8 and yet no one has invited Geralt to a game of Gwent yet, despite being in numerous taverns.
