I'm not sure how I feel about that FF7 thing.

I've added that game to my pc backlog. I'll never play it. Ever. What an idiot.

I watched The Joker, thought it was pretty good and not at all what I was expecting.
Played some Apex too, and got my usual flurry of second places and some good kills. I have been teamed up with some real potatoes though.

I saw the Scottish cup today. The oldest football trophy in the world, fittingly on display in a shopping centre between a Costa Coffee and a Claire's Accessories. Which one is sponsoring it these days?

The folk who owned this house before us raised the garden out the back slightly and put in something to help the drainage. Our garden is fine but the ones either side are swamps. 1 SWAT visit, 4 weeks of meticulous digging by the forensics unit, 6 months on remand before the trial starts . . . at what point will poor old Crank realise he bought a house from Tiddles?

Just got booted by the Division server about 30s before the end of a mission with a random on challenging. Has taken almost an hour. Motherfucker.

I like those R Whites lemonade ads from 70's.
[EDIT] I didn't know Ross McManus was Elvis Costello's dad.

A tad blowy out.
TV. Succession. Some great one liners and a bunch of really unlikeable people. Great TV.
Games. Apex Legends. Played terribly for about four games. One of the aforementioned potatoes - though not on baby's team/platform. Did manage to punch some guy to death who was scrambling for a gun.
Division 2. Helping Randoms. As I said last night, kicked by the server/internet gods as we were about to finish the bank mission.

Bollocks to Sundays... more treatment, but today it's likely to be amateur hour. AKA a bank nurse ... if it's the Hellbitch I will tell her to go back to the Devil's furnace ... OK, I might just hide and pretend I'm not here

I'm 'liking' the hiding bit, not Chumbles being tortured. I am not a monster and I never sold Crank a house.* * I may have.

I, too, am 'liking' the bit about hiding, not the bit about suffering. However, I'm very worried about Chumbles and this weight losing business. I know that you want to avoid hospital at all costs after what you've been through, but peptic ulcers tend to have staying power unless treated and I just had a dose of what can happen if someone goes into hospital without reserves. I hope at least your GP is on the case.

You can tell poor old Chumbles is really unwell because I don't offer screeds of badly informed advice to him. It's the basic Chatterbox test of sickness or health. That said, Chumbles, I recommend milk of magnesia*, E45 cream*, a small brandy* if your stomach can manage it, and two mild joints a day. Try to get pot grown locally, as that helps avoid financing the negative social and environmental impacts of the drugs trade. *This advice isn't specific to your ailments, it's just general advice to cover all common Chatterbox ailments.

Morning all!
Dennis has come a'visiting. I haven't been out to inspect potential exterior damage, but the view of the front and back garden shows that dividing walls and fences appear to all be standing. Just the standard-when-it-rains-sideways water-ingress in the front bay window.
Gamesblog - DQB2, and the hermit has told me to carry on building, but to come and visit him alone. I'm scared.
I also played some Dune II on the Amiga.
TVblog - The Boys.

I am über tough, my tinfoil Asāsiyyūn, and 30 lbs off my hospital low. I am impacted by fewer infections than then, have instituted measures that were successful then. The most tedious of which is 4 litres of water a day. I am reliably informed that patients are being moved around the hospital like planes stacking over LHR. They are at 100% capacity. As for my GP, you mean the guy who I've only seen once since 2014? They have 250 people on their 'at risk' register - I'm one of them and they are supposed to visit me every 6 months for a full health check. That 'once since 2014' was when he came to apologize for prescribing Penicillin "It's 45 years since you last had it, perhaps you're no longer allergic" - I won't go into details but I know that I was very very close to the edge; 3 days in ICU, 9 pints of blood 4 pints of other non-alcoholic fluids through 4 Cannula (central lines) and on monitored oxygen ... the triage consultant gave me next to zero chance of survival. 13 days later I walked out. All of my current disabilities are the result of mistaken medical intervention. My local surgery is under 'special measures' for the third time in 5 years ... I personally have 3 complaints extant against them, 3 vs patient transport, 1 vs the vascular dept. And that's regarding current issues. I could literally go on enumerating their fuck ups for at least a page of this forum, but you will already be as bored as I am. In summary, 7 years of misdiagnosis, treatment without diagnosis, genuine mistakes, negligence has taught me to make them expound to me why they want to employ a treatment and if the reason is 'let's throw it against the wall and see if it sticks', I tell them to fuck off. After 7 years of constant pain and all the petty humiliation that disabling illness brings, in precisely those words.

Also, it's not Canada. It's *really* hard to get weed not grown by a scumbag. I neither use it nor particularly like it. I do have nice green-fingered friends with medical needs though, if I were inclined. Did you see the G's article about Dawlish? 'retired minister, Roger Whitehead, 78, who runs the centre. He suggests that drugs need to be taken out of the hands of organised crime gangs such as the Geordies. “The only answer is to make it legal and controlled,” he says. “We have to admit that we have lost the war on drugs.”'
