We have a car port, no car though, and luckily had the roof replaced a few years ago but it still makes a hell of a racket when the wind blows and you're convinced the whole thing will take off, we also had a fence blow down a while back and the new one has stood up admirably.
Great story with no drama. 4*

Chumbles. I hope you don't mind me asking, but how did all this start? What was the initial cause? I've always been curious but too shy to ask.

Hi!
More RDR2 last night. Now on chapter 6. I don't want the game to end so am doing some challenges. Got the 'skin 3 black/grizzly bears' then helped out a widow by showing her how to kill and skin a rabbit.
Making lasagne today.
Might try Dark Souls 3 later. Bought it a few weeks back. Never played a Dark Souls game. Played Bloodborne (until I gave up as it was too HARD).
Cool story.

Teevee: Frankie Boyle's Tour of Scotland, ep. 2. So many wonderful quips, I won't spoil anything. Half an hour is too short for this programme. Vidja ganes: Also DQB2. amipal has obviously reached the same point as I have in the story. I have opted for concentrating on tablet targets to reap the various rewards - remember, you can still see the hermit to exchange mini medals without moving the story on - that have given me some sweet endgame gear. And, more importantly, the ability to change my hair. My castle is really coming along, completed the library and finally built another second floor wing. Next I'll do a round trip of various locations. Danky's itchy buying finger syndrome is apparently contagious, so I acquired Children of Morta (which I had in my sight since it came out) at 30% off and also bought the sequel to my favourite puzzle game, Glass Masquerade, imaginatively titled Glass Masquerade 2 and played a bit of it.* OTTM: Read the Observer's WTF revelations on Suella Braverman's links to a bonkers Buddhist sect. Just when you thought that these people could no longer surprise you. *Edit: the game is made by a very small Russian team, who last time round got Iceland and Ireland mixed up. It's an easy mistake to make.

Chumbles . I hope you don't mind me asking, but how did all this start? What was the initial cause? I've always been curious but too shy to ask. Before the morphine wears off.., In June 2012 I was made redundant with a healthy (ouch) package ... I spent August looking up hotels, planning a 2 month hotel hopping September - October trip from Calais down to the Dordogne, Toulouse and Perpignan visiting folk I'd made friends with over previous years... I discovered two minute ulcers under my ankle joints on both legs; I was already wearing the oh so alluring black pressure stockings... The practice nurse proceeded to treat these as veinous ulcers for 6 months, in spite of my saying that they were 10 x more painful than previous ulcers (this is one of the 'tells' for an arterial ulcer). They got infected with Pseudomonas, for which the treatment is either Penicillin (cf above) or washing it off. The latter might even have worked if my legs weren't under compression. By the end of 6 months I had 7 ulcers on my left leg, 3 on the right. I was having to use ca. 10 towels a day to soak up the exudate which swamped the dressings in about 8 hours. The District Nurses took over in May '13, stopped compression, but I think the Pseudomonas had already internalsed along with another bug which to this day remains unidentified. Washing the Pseudomonas off remained the absolutely fucking agonizing treatment and totally ineffective after my first charming encounter with septic shock in September '13... commencing a long long catalogue of mistreatment, errors and stupidity. That, Tids, is how it started. With near total trust in the medical profession to a deep cynicism towards their internal dishonesty and assiduous attempts to bury mistakes (sometimes literally) rather than investigate the causes. Our health service has a sickness and no political party dares to try to cure it. More money won't do it and Brexit has already severely impacted my local hospital ... I'll shut up now. Morphine wearing off And I never made that trip.

"Exudate". Hey, Admin, can you make a button that isn't "like" but is somehow generally agreeing (though not necessarily with the political and economic analysis) and expressing sympathy (in the specific sense of recognising and understanding stuff, not the sense of pity)? You could call it the "generally agreeing (though not necessarily with the political and economic analysis) and expressing sympathy (in the specific sense of recognising and understanding stuff, not the sense of pity) button".

After a night of rainfall of biblical proportions and more steady rain this morning, the sun has come out. Bizarre.
I don't know much about Planet Zoo, but I will always remember Keef getting distracted during the E3 coverage by its trailer, featuring a "photorealistic hippo doing a giant poo".

Sort of ⁉️ = I sympathise, but I can't be arsed to think about it. Only time will tell if you're right or wrong. Borrowed from Chess " Usually it indicates that the move leads to exciting or wild play but that the objective evaluation of the move is unclear." Or "Fuck me, here we go down the rabbit hole." "About now I get overtaken by the whale."

Chumbles 's cautionary tale has just prompted me to order a penicillin allergy wristband and card/key fob combo from Jeff for the Pref. Mam., who last had penicillin when he was eleven. It did not go well. He doesn't want a metal one. "It looks like jewellery and I'm a man." Yes, proud owners of fashionable wristwatches, my other half is silently judging you.

To be fair, a watch is jewellery. And it's fine for men to wear jewellery. If they want to. And they're ok with that. And they're certain that's what they want to do. There's nothing wrong at all with that.
I don't wear a watch.

BabyfarkmcGeezakThe Division 2 is £2.50 on epic games store. Its worth a punt. Total lootfest but it looks great with some good baddies and you can play PvP if you like. I'll probably go full WeeCooper and grab it. On uPlay as well at that price

Matthew 7 [1] "Judge not, lest ye be judged." Although tenthenemy I admit I'm not a fan of man jewellery, excepting a Skagen or Seiko watch and a black/red bloodstone ring. Good news: I have just finished a meal*, enjoyed it and am still mildly hungry. For the first time since the flare up... as for the theory .. all my life people have said that I look healthiest between 14-15st 7b... But the BMI chart says different -

Apparently I'm overweight according to that. Generally I have a slim frame but middle age spread. The classic west of Scotland heart attack material.

If I live to 160, I'm in the first flush of youth. If I die at fifty, I'm an old man.
Either way, I'm a beautiful and athletic specimen at the moment.

I know what you mean - at my current weight the regular visitors say I look ill... even dieticians don't adhere to it; when I was at 10st 4lbs in hospital the Ward Sister who'd called in the dietician because I was still losing weight Sister asked
"What should he be eating?"
"Anything he bloody wants, as much as he can, whenever he can. If he asks for a slice of toast at 3 a.m. get it... if he hasn't eaten in 6 hrs. get him a couple of yoghurts. He's in a life-threatening weight and the weight loss must be stopped." Their concern was that any renewed infection would almost certainly off me.
So even though my BMI was still in the green she'd adjusted for my build type...
