76.1 and 9.74 through WiFi apparently. I have no idea if that’s good or not. It’s still better than living in rural Yorkshire with a TV that can’t handle ceefax.

Horrific. Hope she won't end up in hospital. Just goes to show that the lockdown didn't come a moment too soon. I had worried (as one does) how the neighbours are coping, particularly the deeply unpleasant elderly couple on one side and whether I should offer them any help with shopping (although they have a car and are completely mobile). Today I got my answer when the husband accosted me this morning to claim that our bathroom overflow pipe was leaking onto his roof (he didn't explain how this was possible, given that for this to happen our bathroom would have to be flooded. It's even more unlikely as the pipe is nowhere near his roof). Can't really say that he has got the hang of this whole social distancing thing. I didn't even bother to explain to him that atm it isn't wise or even legal to get anyone in to have a look this (it's not been much use in the past when he has accused plumbers of somehow being in cahoots with us when they couldn't find a fault). So much for looking out for one another. You're not alone: PepysDiaries @pepys_Diaries 44m Though many of my goodly neighbours offer help and alms to those in need, still others furnish mine ears with an unwelcome cacophony of squawking, loud music and bellowing conversation. I pray my tolerance survives the tests so willingly provided by these rough-hewn lubberworts.

Animal Crossing Chat. Let the child play first. "Don't name the island till I get back from this call.."
"I'm going to call it Happy Island" she said. Ok whatever, just wait.
Come back. "I called it happy as Happy Island was too long"
Hmm.

Blimey. An American friend put me onto Dr. John Campbell's daily YouTube casts... Excellent and I rarely use that word for a vlogger.

I also enjoyed 2002-3 and 2003-4 and 2004-5 and 2006-7 and 2008-9 and 2009-10.
Not so much 2004-6 or 2007-8
2002-3 was great. 5-0 in the derbies. Enckelman. St Dugarry at his best.

In other news, both daughters have been reporting lack of taste and smell for the last few days as well as cold-like symptoms. They have convinced themselves they have the virus and have been avoiding contact, so far as possible, with Mrs D and me.
We both have slight sniffles but no other symptoms; nonetheless we are all self-isolating.
I, for one, have convinced myself that my excessive alcohol consumption is somehow protecting me.

EDIT: BBC is now quoting 28 deaths Google then: www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/It's the same site that gives you the world population live update.. how do they figure 28 deaths, if they are referring to new ones that's now at +13, otherwise the count Uk stands at 435.

I quite liked 2011. Demon's Souls platinum Arsenal 1- Birmingham 2Fucking fairytale in Bruges. Booooo It was a dream for us. Beating a top club to win a trophy. It's our one achievement. Pretty much unthinkable most of the time I've been a supporter. Made up for a lot of disappointments. Particularly 2001 when we were so close when Henchoz went through the back of Andy Johnson in extra time only for Elleray to not give it. And then to lose on sudden death penalties. Arsenal were ok anyway. Plenty more trophies since then. Arsenal were the first club we played in the Premier League. Away at the champions. It was an eye opener. Henry, Wiltord and Bergkamp. 2-0 massively flattered us. It was great though, just to be there.
