New York is awake now; whilst was scrubbing my wounds "Look! That's healthy blood." (incoherent screaming through clenched teeth), a tiny part of my brain* noticed me ASMR Forest Sounds | Woodland Ambience, Bird Song, Nearby Village | 3 Hours, bug out at 11.00 am. That's 7.00 a.m. EDT... That's when th hub single - channelled

Re: BoJo and Charlie Windsor
It's funny how they are able to be tested when only displaying mild symptoms, yet front line NHS staff aren't.
We're all in this together...

Now BoJo has tested positive. Into isolation with him! Bet he never imagined being Prime Minister would be like this. He only has mild symptoms apparently. Meanwhile a healthy 21 year old died from it recently. Proof there is no God. I'm even wondering whether he's just saying that to shirk responsibilities for a while, just to get away from it all.

Can't wait for the telegraph and mail to tell us how brave he is being. Fuck him. And yeah he will use it politically, of course he will. Bawbag.

Don't be more stupid than you need to be. I didn't vote for BoJo, but BoJo is one test kit, and has a role which is critical and is doing his best to do it sensibly and fairly (I never, ever thought I would be saying that). If he were, say, to be replaced by Pretty Awful Patel, do you think he would be better. FFS, just look at how Trump is mishandling the situation. What would or rather could YOU have done better with the information available? By gathering the epidemiological, and other, experts and following their advice he's done the right thing. Do you not follow the world news and hear / see what a fuvking hash many countries are making of it?
"We're all in this together..." and some of us are moaning a shitload more than others. I could rant a lot more but I am in a hellacious amount of pain.
Charles, well, not so much... can't help wondering how Charley boy got it and Camilla didn't

Pref.Mam. is convinced there is a drug den across the road, lots of cars and different people always around, me not so much.
Last night about 3ish there was a bit of a ruckus and some banging, this morning the forensic police turned up and one of the people living there had a bandage around his head, maybe she was right?

I *would* expect the PM and the heir to the throne be tested. I can still not be happy that the man being tested is largely to blame for their not being enough testing &or ventilators due to: if I'm kind incompetence
If I'm not being kind political games over Brexit ideology.
I won't go into the deliberate run down of the NHS as you're much, much more aware of that than me.

Maybe just a bad case of cabin fever? We once had a couple renting a house opposite who were notorious for their rows in the early hours of the morning, sometimes attended by the police. We think the landlord got fed up eventually and turfed them out.

You've got to have the people in charge properly tested.
Otherwise when they get ill the risks of disaster multiply. It doesn't matter who is in charge just that someone can make decisions - even if they aren't the best decisions. Sometimes any decision is better than no decision.
Anyone in charge is better than no one in charge. And that means pretty much anyone. You look at the worst Roman Emperors who invited their own downfall and things got worse not better after they were murdered until a new emperor was able to exert authority. And sometimes that took years.

It would just have been nice if the person in charge had been bright enough not to shake hands with people in a hospital at the onset of a pandemic.
I’m reading Defoe’s Journal of the Plague Year at the moment, just to take my mind off things. Same shit, different century.

I had already heard about this latest PETA stunt from a Youtuber, but they always do that with new and popular games. Years ago they made headlines with their objections to Super Mario and the Tanooki suit. They are the reason why the developers of Super Meat Boy put the joke character Tofu Boy into their game.

Pyjakson would no doubt agree with you about Bazza, Sheep2. He was a good player, but I never got the hype - some of the pundits up here (presumably his mates) still try to shoehorn him into all-time top 10s and the like. I mainly saw him playing for Scotland, where he would stop the ball, turn, shout, point, turn again, point again, eventually pass the ball. Always slowing the game down for the sake of this performance. Best Scottish player of his generation by a long way, but that's not saying much with the dross we had at the time. He probably had the ability to be much better, but I don't think he had the attitude and professionalism to reach the heights of his English contemporaries. And I can't comment on him without mentioning his love of a pain killing injection and pickled onion monster munch too.
