I've got zoom drinks arranged for later. I suggested this to a mate who lives alone, we meet once a month for a beer, he laughed. We'll see how he feels in 3 weeks.

Unlike the series finale of Picard, which was turgid, and relied too heavily on heart-string-pulling nostalgia. You're dead on the inside amipal.

I have also killed Captain Truant in Borderlands 3 and played a single game of Fortnite where I killed 5 players.
Best of all a 24 pack of Stella has been secured.

The plus side of living alone is that I won't get brained with a frying pan for one crass joke too many. The downside is I might want to be. I've made quite a bit of effort (well sent whatsapp messages) to connect with old friends this week. It's all gone pretty well. Plus I'm still working. I'm hopeful even several weeks won't be too bad.

Christ, it's the people who are stuck in a house with kids I feel sorry for. That must be fucking horrific. Thank fuck I've always managed to avoid breeding.

Spoke to drunkbuddy. He's not happy to be furloughed, as going to his work each day is part of his sober routine. Hie did say that his local corner shop has agreed to keep him a case of Smirnoff red , in case of emergency he can call them and they'll pass him a bottle out of the window anytime 24/7.

But I'm getting the same feeling I got when I finished watching The Last Jedi: the more I question it, the worse it is. And Alex Kurtzman is still a hack.

I fear this might be the issue for shared islands I was talking about. I suppose you have made your daughter the main player Bawz. "Sorry {redacted} the switch reset itself and we had to start again..."

It's probably not that frustrating to be stuck 24/7 with a 5 year-old and a 12 year-old I expect.

After the mini Nintendo Direct day before yesterday I pre-ordered the Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition collector's doodah. Have you played it before? Or 2? The overall setting seems cool but the voice acting and dialogue are rage inducing for me. X on the other hand was TB, because you could largely ignore all that bollocks and explore the massive landscape.

I am shattered... I've been trying to get priority for shopping deliveries. I can't get to a shop because I am disabled and housebound and I am apparently not in enough danger to get on the government's register to get priority with my shopping. It turns out I have only 1 of the qualifying conditions in a mild form... so it bounced my registration. There is nowhere via 111 etc. my surgery ("Wait for the letter" etc.) that I can discuss this with. gov.uk asked for my feedback:
"I am auto immune compromised and have the following Asthmatic Colitis - in the ICU 2017 with melaena Prone to septic shock - nearly died of this 4 times in 6 years.. Latter due to massive ulceration of my lower left leg Disabled and have relied solely on home deliveries since 2014 I have had Reynaud's disease which impacts my circulation I have had an Ablation operation cancelled and need a dilatation operation...
I am in constant pain for which I take morphine. My District Nurses assure me I should be on the register, but no letter has arrived.
I will die of inanition long before Covid-19 gets me"
Days on the fucking phone...
I am going to play games and forget about all this for the rest of the day; I have to think about something else and games at least does that.

I think the lack of sport (footy & cricket) on telly has affected my brain.
I've just downloaded FIFA 20. Don't think I've bought FIFA since about 96/97.
Always been PES.
I'm going to have a beer and think about what I've done.

I also hovering over Don Bradman cricket. I keep looking at that but £40 is a bit too much. Don is ace. Buy it cheap tho. There's 3 versions 14, 17 and Ashes. Functionally they are pretty much identical so buy the cheapest. I play online very occasionally with old boxers. We have a chat group but no one arranges fixtures so it is mostly piccies of beer and yellow tea.

Ashes cricket is the newest and is £20 on psn. It might well be cheaper in the next sale.
There is a cricket 19 as well. I've not played that version. Didn't know about it. It's £35 though so it can stay unplayed.

Not yet.... I have to wait until tomorrow to buy a £50 PSN voucher for £41.85. I've already bought one today.
What I can't work out is if you buy £100 it costs £87.85, but 2*50 is £83.70. From Shop To. It makes PSN much better value. I never just top up now. I might buy Nioh 2 instead (as well) anyway.
I can't play games. Too busy reading Hilary Mantel and chatting. No time to actually do anything.
