I've been furloughed since Tuesday. The drop in income is more than covered by the drop in spending at the pub, thankfully. Not everyone will be so lucky.
Games blog - I've been playing a ton of animal crossing. My house is fully upgraded and I've got about 1.7 million bells left to pay to clear the mortgage. Then I'll focus on other things like decorating my house/island.
I've also been trying to finish up the challenges in unravel 2 with the preferred mammal. They are... Challenging.
Tiger King blog - after watching this, I feel like the most normal person that ever lived.
Cough blog - there was finally a bit of progress yesterday, thought I was almost clear. I woke up this morning coughing, as is now customary, but unable to inhale between coughs. This happened on Thursday morning, but was more severe today.

That sounds grim/scary. Hope you're better soon.
Now the polite enquiry is out the way,,, What fruit you got on your island?

Apparently, dogs and cats are prone to Covid-19. I should know, I've run the simulation.

Hello, Yesterday's sun, beer and puns have left me feeling slightly ropey this morning.
No games

That sounds grim/scary. Hope you're better soon. Now the polite enquiry is out the way,,, What fruit you got on your island? It's both, if I'm honest. I started with pears, but have them all now. There's three in my house playing it, so between us we can get most items and nearly guarantee a good price for our turnips each week. How's your island shaping up?

It's both, if I'm honest. {Snip} How's your island shaping up? Proper lack of breath is the scariest thing of all. It demonstrates how fragile we are. My island is shaping up slowly. Got a house, about 25k to pay on that, Opened up the museum and just need more iron for the shop to get built. We have oranges, pears, coconuts - after I read they only grow on beaches - and thanks to tenthen apples.

I had to use my fingers to open my eyelids this morning. 4*
I've also done a fair bit of editing/deleting my posts this morning. I have my reasons.

Pyjakson : take care - over the last 14 years and especially the last 6, I've done a shit ton of research, sometimes having to experiment on myself ... I've survived 4 septic shock episodes (mortality rate = 40-60%), if you haven't already, ring your Doctor. You need Salbutamol and Clenil Modulate inhalers; the first opens the upper chest airways and the second administers a tiny burst of steroid into the lungs to encourage the cells that are producing crap to transform back into cilia that normally waft mucus in its gaseous form out of your lungs AND inhibit that terrible cough, because you've coughed, because you've coughed etc. and there's still crap there the reflex chains. amipal will have observed this in his little lad. Some things that you, any of us, can do to aid the situation: up your fluid intake to at least 3 litres, preferably 4 of non-alcoholic fluid - it'll help protect your kidneys against an over-aggressive autoimmune response and, perversely, mitigate against fluid build up in the lungs. It's how they reckon I've survived this far. If you're over 40 up your protein intake. It will dramatically increase your immune system's ability to fight off whatever it is you've got... Yoghurt is a good source of protein as are protein shakes... Try and ensure you stand up and walk around a bit every 2-3 hours. Your coughing will get rid of a lot more rubbish out of your lungs, which will also help reduce that chain coughing. I'm assuming you don't smoke; if you do, then stop. NOW. It's the single most effective way of increasing your chances of surviving if you have or do get Covid-19. Reducing your lung capacity voluntarily is so very fucking stupid I may megarant... Finally I attach an Australian research report based on evidence rather than those fucking useless "Research reports" that are no more than glorified literature searches produced by poncing academics too idle to do the hard yards. PIIS1525861013003265.pdf (885.92 KB) <Edit> If you're not able to get into the sunshine then you may benefit from Vitamin D 4,000 IU, Maximum Strength Vitamin D3 Supplements... that strength is the one (of the many) I have to take. It helps bones and the immune system - the soft gel ones are much easier to swallow. If you're under 55 you're going to need some but at a lower strength.

Morning Everyone!
Today I am visiting a Big Supermarket in the Big City to collect an order. Mostly cheese. It turns out man cannot live by Co-op visits alone.
I'm kind of a big deal.

I watched a classic Escocia on Match of the Day world cup special. Gemmill's goal wasn't that great, the Dutch one next was just as good.

Hello.
I’ve taken this last week off work and got a lot of stuff done around the house, but honestly I’m looking forward to being back on the laptop on Tuesday - if only for the rest!
My island has pears, peaches and coconuts, a bamboo swamp but now I’ve discovered recipes for Oranges I’m desperate for them.
I haven’t checked this morning but I think I’ve done nearly all the bunny recipes too.
And in other news, I’ve got my shorts on. Something something pale rider something something.

Jobs done, sun out and time to chill in the garden. No games but the Joe lycet TV show last night and some panel shows via Skype, not sure it's the future of TV with everyone remoting in.

Chumbles thanks, I think the main piece of advice I need to take there is call the doctor. I've held off as it calms right down during the day but this morning was a but much. crankcaller if you or tenthen need any fruit, I can drop some off. I harvested yesterday so it would have to be Monday, I think. You'll get to see my custom made Queen's Eleven regalia as well.
