The Potato Heads* have been outside their house on the patch of grass which is common to about 11 houses in the close. They all share these things - a love of food, mowing that patch of grass, and washing their fucking vehicles - a monster 4x4 SUV, a souped up Ford Fiesta, tricked out with every useless widget you can imagine and pére's business van. Young Potato Head washes his car every.fucking.day... *They also share the ugliest faces in the close and the kind of physique the French like to term "the stomach on stilts"**. It means they block that complete area of the Close so that folk have to make a large detour. Even if we get a roasting hot Summer, they will still do these things and we get a hosepipe ban. Selfish, you betcha Now is the Summer of our discontent... **Sadly not an original Chumbles' quote***, but from the excellent Toujours Provence by Peter Mayle
***Yes I know that is the construction for a mass noun, but have you seen the size of me!

scubar and amipalI took your advice on AC Od. It's great, I like it. It has that sweet sweet Witcher vibe, and no sign of Danny Wallace so far either.

I have been playing NMS and I finally found some copper, so I was able to build my first space station (literally a shed) and a teleporter which I now need to power up.
I played a match of COD where I was rubbish but did win my Gulag. Some Apex too, but it's Kings Canyon at night and it's a third party fest.
Mrs Fark made a fantastic ham for dinner.

Dinner: roast lamb.
It was utterly, utterly delicious. I can very well see me returning to what remains of the leg of lamb later on this evening.
Forensics will be able to match the bite-marks to my teeth. And I won't care.
Now, time for a meat-coma.

To go with the roast beef I tried a new gravy; half a can of consomme, mixed into a butter roux, with Worcestershire sauce, tomato puree and a tsp of gravy granules.
It was very tasty.

Also roast lamb, with the works. Couple of pints of IPA in the garden with the last of the evening sun. Now just waiting for the kids to be in bed so I can steal their chocolate and play some RE2.

I was so glad to have a grocery delivery that I didn't plan ahead for an Easter roast.
So we had steak instead. It's what Jesus would have wanted.

Evening. A lovely day here today. Windy now though and to be cold. The child was playing AC:DC while Mrs C and I brought in the Asda delivery earlier. Turns out the pears & apples had harvested so she arsed them. I had anticipated this though and planted some a day later on the other side of Happy Isle.
Whilst typing all that shite I noticed the boiler pressure was far too high. I had adjusted a valve to increase it yesterday as it was too low. The valve won't go back the way. Scottish Gas coming out tomorrow. Mrs C's dad dropping off a radiator key as apparently we don't have one. The guy on the phone said I might be able to get the pressure down a bit if I bleed the radiators.
I'm probably the most popular man in the West of Scotland as we speak. What a shit show. We'll catch bat flu off the guy and I'll never hear the end of it.

Crank! Tell me about Animal Crossing DC; is it set in Washington DC? It's an animal crossing Division 2 hybrid. Tom Nook wants to see the world burn and releases a virus on egg day.

Morning all, more witching, then finally saw the back of bunny day on animal crossing, thank fuck. No more stupid eggs everywhere.
Gave the google stadia a try earlier as they have a free trial with 9 games free. Most of those 9 games are bollocks, but there’s also destiny 2 and GRID (3?). Crashed twice in grid because the video froze up, in about 15 minutes of playing. Then tried destiny... it’s playable, but feels pretty bad. Feels really odd as the frame rate Nd graphics are TB, but there’s still constantly changing lag that makes it feel really off. Bad banana.

Claire run through ng2. Early days.
Lucy. I want some of that too.
Heinz tinned beans & sausages on slightly ood bread. Butter galore. With HP.
Fat chubby arms, puny shoulders and female gorilla tits all ache from scarifying the lawn.
Yellow tail.
Shenguin you cunt. I've been googling prickly heat and Covid earlier, so much so I became breathless, a mini panic attack I hope, think it was all in my mind. You shit. It didn't help that I read about the weight thing, I do have an, erm, generous belly. Sigh.

Never google symptoms otherwise you'll convince yourself that you have Beriberi.
