I have been to the park in daylight. It was nice. I have a photo of two ponies from only just over 2M away. They are ridiculously sweet. It is a good job I can't post the photo here. it would ruin my image Also a duck family and some geese. Good to see you're maintaining sufficient safe distance from ponies. Of course.

I am being subjected to Detective Pikachu. It is not my cup of tea. At least it isn't Britain's got talent. I feel it's more aimed at everyone who was out hammering on saucepans the other night.

After spending forty minutes on trying to sort my vertical scrolling issues, I'm still none the wiser.

After ignoring pleas to call the doctor from my girlfriend, my housemate and a few folk on here, it was the thought of scubar getting my stuff that prompted me to call 111.
After going through a lengthy checklist with the call centre operative, a senior nurse called me back and I've to pick up antibiotics tomorrow. Can't hurt I guess.

Detective Pikachu or the thought of faceless's misery? I assume it's the latter. Let's face it, we all do.

"Can't hurt I guess"
Read the potential side effects before taking and then say that.
Seriously, hope you're better soon. Do you have whooping cough potentially? Can be pretty unpleasant.

I judged it a bit too soon. It actually wasn't bad.

True, but I think it's just penicillin, which I've been fine with before. Fuck knows. It started off really dry about 2 weeks ago and I just assumed it was the covid, but after maybe five days it became less dry and pretty severe and constant. At first I kept saying I'd be annoyed if it wasn't the covid and I'd been ill with another one potentially on the way, but now I'd just be glad to see the back of it.

I listened to the end of the 2019 Headingley Ashes Test on TMS.
Ben Stokes 135. Also, Jack Leach, the greatest one not out ever.
Exciting stuff. 4 stars.

And seconded - if you're permanently ill, with just the severity of the illnesses changing you learn after a time that there is no point in feeling sorry for yourself or sinking into despair or depression. Just enjoy what you can, how you can - live in the present and cultivate a "go fuck yourself attitude" towards the illness. Not easy for a young, fit guy, but it's essential.

Shenguin's Revenge expired ... Scamander's Pila is available - only 4 players needed. Up to you; I'm off to sleep - done too much today and overtired - I regret it if I have trodden on anyone's toes.

Just caught up with the end of Picard, overall quite enjoyable but a bit of mess, especially tonally* and occasional plot points. * Why on earth did they do all that grieving nonsense when they were going play the old "mind transference - get out of jail card", weren't they told? If not why not?

Oh man. Just finished TLOU remastered. A masterpiece.
My first play was on PS3. At the time I didn't think it, as I would've done the same as Joel, but as someone on here said the other days (Sheep2 I think?) the option to have another alternative ending would be interesting.
I didn't like the 'left behind' add on last time, but it was years ago, so I probably will, once I've got this grit out of my eye.
Sigh.

Re - Spoiler: Because Picard and the others are human and still considered a threat in part to the android society despite everything that they had done for them, and because not all humanoids/Romulan/other may think in the same way as Picard and the others.

Thanks for the offer I’m Mandy69@hotmail.com I'm a man, not a number! You are number 6. Morning! SF chat: I watched a bit of a Star Trek fillum yesterday, some reboot with young Kirk etc.. Romulans, things exploding and shields being at 33%. I turned it off and stared out the window for a hour watching drunks staggering about. 4*

A bit of both really. Groups of 6 hugging each other outside a shop, but also, the loner who was so pissed he kept turning to the right straight into a steel fence. Of particular note was the young lady who decided to have a power nap on the pavement, before getting up and walking the wrong way around a roundabout (and I do mean staggering in the road).
Star Trek just could not compete, I'm afraid.
