We need to agree whose island to meet on. That person needs to talk to Orville at the airport and get a Dodo code, thus opening their gates. The code expires when one closes the gate again; attempting to travel to another island will close them, so one needs to be clear who's hosting and who's visiting. The host needs to give the code to the invitee(s), this can only be done outside the game like here in a private message, although it's safe to post it openly here as long as one tells Orville only to invite friends and as long as they are happy to have theoretically more than one guest. It is worth downloading the Nintendo app to be able to use your phone keyboard for chat because the in-game keyboard is fucking atrocious. Items trading can only be done by 'dropping' the item and the other person picking it up. It is unfortunately not possible to trade insects or fish. Once another person has visited one can exchange letters twice a day and attach items but no critters. My island is Tikunani and I'm happy to host as long as we can agree on a time. |

Diplomats, Queen of Krakens, Backstabbing Sabbelkistler! Shenguin's Revenge has stubbornly refused to fill, with 9 hrs. left of the 10 day filling time and 6 on public offer, it isn't going to. I think the aggressive 1 day a phase is the part of the problem; one or two having dipped (ouch) their toes into the murky waters have gotten err... cold feet š So, there is another simple Fog of War variant played on a different map: here's how the map looks with the fog removed :  There aren't any weird rules outside of the usual Fog ones: - Units you have see their current territory + every territory that shares a border with that territory
- Territories you own with a support-center see their current territory an every territory that share a border with that territory
- Your territories without a support-center only show what's in them
I've never won this game... The game is set up as Scamander's Pila, usual password, 1.5 day turn around. Here's the Linkie |

TVblog - Race Around the World, which curiously cut-off on iPlayer. Then 30 Rock, followed by Justified.
Amigablog - a bit more coding. I've got a vertically scrolling Bitmap, but the palette goes weird when it wraps. Odd.

I have been hitting Zwift (indoor bike trainer game) to keep sane this afternoon. As people ride near you, you can see their chat. Until about a week ago it was all 'hang in there' this, 'ride on buddy' that; now it's just wall to wall 'fuck Carole Baskin'.

I have a photo of two ponies from only just over 2M away.
They are ridiculously sweet. It is a good job I can't post the photo here. it would ruin my image
