Our history teacher "wee Freddie" used to spend a large chunk of lessons slagging him off. Mind you, he also spent a large chunk of double history slagging his mother in law as well.
The poor guy died a couple of years later (partly) as a result of some kid putting tippex thinners in his coffee. Fucking terrible scenes all round.

Sorry to hear (read?) the bad news Mr Tids. Not good.
Finished FF7:R last night. Hmmm. That is all I'll say on the ending. Still, all in all, excellent game. Tifa is still GOAT playable character in it, Cloud is rubbish. Even Aerith feels better to play than him, and she spent her time stood on the sidelines chucking in heals for me. Anyway, time for hard mode methinks.

Is grade s worse than type a in prick scales? Who knows mr typo, who knows... In Japanese games, an S grade is usually the best there is, and sits above A grade. So I think you're fine, typo or not. |

Morning all,
Thanks to Chumbles for his kind words from Friday. Ironically spent the weekend on the next Roman King. It'll involve ghost sex, inter-family violence and chariot rage.
On the topic of Romans I rewatched Life of Brian. It just gets better each time. Also saw George Harrison's cameo, though his only line was apparently dubbed due to his accent.
Gamesblog.
Just need to take down Joseph in Far Cry 5. Looks like an awful final boss battle so unsure if I can be arsed.

Sorry to hear about your mate Tids. These are tough times to lose someone.
Games! DQB2 to be actual. Found myself locked in a cell for no good reason at all. Talk about art imitating life.... found the friendly uglies and eventually escaped and am now back on the Isle of awakening building stage 3 of the damned pyramid.... speaking of which has anyone got a spare one they can send? My last razor blade has definitely lost it's edge, so I now have a razorburned chin to go with my sunburned forehead. It's a strong look, but fairly leprous.
Made cheese scones yesterday. The self raising flour was a year out of date so i added extra baking powder.... they rose... boy did they rise! I may have invented a new cheese-based foodgroup - Huzzah!

I found that Trump press conf slightly disappointing, having read the synopsis of it. Less "meltdown" and more him getting irritated at being heckled with the same leading question over and over.
Not that I'm defending him obvs.

They are often as bad as the right. Your mistake is thinking that the Democrats are a left party. They are mostly a Tory party. There are some decent people in it - Liz Warren and Bernie Sanders. But the main part of the Democrats is owned heart and soul by big business. Which is why Biden has been chosen to be the candidate, despite serious questions over his health. The news outlets are terrible. It's all about arguments over tiny differences. The papers just hate Trump. They can't accept that he won and that in many respects he is a mainstream Republican. It's partly that he used to be a Democrat back in the 1980s I think. I'm not denying he is a horrible monster. It's more that US politics is made up of monsters and he is just one of them. |

Remember Trump saying Coronavirus was a hoax? Probably. Remember Jake Tapper from CNN apologising his misreporting of this? Probably not. The media in the US should be a warning. Not so sure about Warren and Bernie, neither came across well and both have backstories which Trump's team would make hay with. I thought Kloubachar and Yang were better options. |

Morning all, sorry to hear some of you had shit Easter weekends. Everything is just pretty crappy right now. One of my favourite rellies died and we can't do a proper funeral / wake due to the lockdown, I spent most of the weekend drunk from Thursday evening onwards, which hasn't helped my general demeanour despite the 12 mile bike ride Saturday arvo. And to top it off I've spent most of the morning arguing with Visual Studio 2019 and which version of AspNet.Core it thinks I need. Roll on Friday.

mlu035rsc bloody hell. My condolences. That sounds awful. Other Tings That Don't Matter As Much: Chumbles I'm too busy to sign up to a Dip game, even with longer move periods. I prefer a few moves a day when I have time. Work and stuff is ridiculous at the moment. 1,1,1-trichlorethane is nasty stuff. It's largely banned now, as it causes ozone depletion as well as sometimes killing people. Also, I don't understand why people use Tippex rather than just putting a line through a mistake. It made sense on a typewriter to allow a correction. In any other situation it's clearly the sign of a diseased mind. Oh, and anyone stil using a typewriter is also clearly a wrong 'un and should be locked up (with a good supply of paper and ink ribbons, just in case they're also a genius).
