Our postman nearly left a sorry we missed you card this morning, and then nearly tried to give it to the pref mammal by hand when she poked her head out the door. So much for social wiggling. why they can’t just knock and leave it outside of the door I don’t know.

To be completely fair the girl whose name starts with a J and whose birthday is 19 Oct is a delightful person.
We were proper friends for years after we both moved jobs. I even got in touch again because of all the shit that is going down. She is still as nice as ever.
The only mystery (and a significant question over her judgment) is why she was and is so keen to be my friend.
Even putting up with my ranting endlessly about football. Although to be fair there has been some gentle teasing about how awful Blues are.
This means I actually think they may have had something going with the employment policies. I am not saying it was right, but it worked.

And I won a solo Fortnite game.
A proper win. Once we got down to 5 people I shot 3 of the other 4.
The second place person tried to rocket me, but ate my orange assault rifle instead. Unlucky.
There is a small, but undeniable amount of evidence that I am getting a bit better at the game. Not good, but no longer massively embarrassingly bad. I can't build properly, and I will lose to anyone who can build and shoot.
What I mean is I am better than teenagers* at the game.
Still got it!
*teenage bots at least.
