There must have been some nights when we were all in the same pub. Shenguin as well, but I knew that. There were some nights when you were all in shenguin?

No. I am sure you were schoolboy lovers. Sitting in a tree k.i.s.s.i.n.g. It is like the day Larry Loxley and Goulash discovered they worked in the same office. And that one was the boss of the other. Also when I discovered that Lazybones, Ronarid and Silky all drank in the Halfway House pub in Sutton Coldfield in the late 1990s & early 2000s There must have been some nights when we were all in the same pub. Shenguin as well, but I knew that. Good point, maybe Rolling and I have passed like ships in the night at The Park Hotel or Earl of Marchmont. Never to know that one day we would be in the same GGB Chetterbox in-exile internet forum.

Calling it now, the Big Reveal is that sandybahookie and RollingEscargot went to different schools, have never met each other, and it's just a coincidence. It's not even that unlikely, I am yet to meet a history teacher I haven't idly day-dreamed about doing a Tids to. This hasnt aged well Your face hasn't aged well.

Morning all!
Been on the games again - Witch3r, witch is fantastic. Somehow the first time round I tried to play it, I didn't "get" it and ended up woefully under levelled and getting smashed up by all and sundry. This time round things are going swimmingly. Managed to sequence break the early ghost by the well quest and break it so I couldn't complete it, TB. Made it to Velen but went back to the starting area to level up a bit.
Animal Crossing - thank fuck that bunny day shit is over. I don't like the idea of speed running it to collect all the possible fruits/trees like you lot are. Seems a bit at odds with the nature of the game.
Also been on that Geforce Now, which is actually wonderful for playing PC games on my ageing Mac laptop. I wouldn't try anything that requires slight of hand or quick reactions, but for strategy games its top banana. Been playing They Are Billions, which is good stuff. Unfortunately Age of Wonders II remake isn't available on there, or I would get into that.
OTTM - Killing Eve. Two killings. TB.
Since we haven't been able to get any new alchohol in I've had to resort to drinking the finest Champagne we had in storage. Life is hard.

My spreadsheet, now I have updated it for Sandy's age (wow, that was embarrassing, had to knock over a decade off his age) suggests that if Sandy attended between the ages of 11 and 16, then he was one or two years below Rolling.
I notice Rolling was last online 45 minutes ago, but hasn’t posted for 3 hours. I conclude that he has identified who Sandy is, or might be, and we will never see Rolling again.
See, I told you 2020 wouldn’t be all bad. Though of course he might continue to post with his Baby or Faceless accounts.

I'm 40 if that helps with being accurate, and I left school after 5th year to pursue social activities. Plus factor in that Rolling may have been kept back a few years.

As a matter of fact, I left school in 1991, just as sandybahookie arrived. Not a moment too soon. I have enjoyed the hospitality of the boozers you mentioned, but I suspect I was off to university in more exotic lands by the time you were of Edinburgh drinking age (15). As for you know who, actually, he was one of my favourite teachers before he died.

Rolling there, hastily constructing a backstory so that his true identity remains hidden. Clever girl.

He was one of my preferred teachers too at the time, it was only with hindsight that I realised I'd had a couple of odd conversations with him. My daughter is now at the same school in 1st year. Or she was before they cancelled school.

Hang on. So if I understand all this correctly...
Rolling is sandybahookie, sent back from the future, to kill Sarah Connor so that shenguin can never create his spreadsheet?

Evening all. I don't appear to have "check in" with you lot today, not in a proper "this is wot I dun yesterday" sort of way anyway.
TVblog - more Justified, followed by the first-episode of dark sci-fantasy programme Lexx. On release, it was billed as "Star Trek's evil twin" - yup, pretty accurate.
Gamesblog - just no. Glad to see someone on here still getting on with DQB2 though.
OTTM - today I managed to turn my head so quickly that my specs flew off of my head. They landed on the hearth, lens-down. I now have a one centimetre scratch across the right-lens, and am officially pissed off.

Rolling must be pretty much the same age as me. Unlucky.
I didn't attend any Scottish schools or stab anyone though. So that is 2-0 to me.

According to my spreadsheet I am one year and one day younger than you (2-1). Also, while searching the house for a book about the history of Ireland that I thought I had but didn't, I have just discovered 2 bottles of Punk IPA that I didn't know I had but do. (2 - 2).

Im playing FF7R. Just beat Air Buster. Then the music played.
We had it at our wedding, the nostalgia in this game is something else.

The first proper job I worked in there were about 20 staff. Of these 2 of us were born on 18 Oct and 2 on 19 Oct. And at one point all the women who worked there (except 1) had names starting with J.
I always suspected one of the partners (or more) had a very strange sexual agenda.

Evening all.
Not much to report, really. French spinach and goat cheese pastry for my lunch in an effort to ease the pressure on the bread supply. Pref. Mam. likes a sandwich for lunch and needs wine with goat cheese but doesn't want wine at lunch time. His problem.
Swedish meatballs for dinner.
Hoping that Royal Mail will be successful with the redelivery of a parcel. Last attempt was Saturday at 8:15 a.m. The night before I had checked their stupid tracking website which showed that it was still "in transit" to the delivery depot so I wasn't expecting it. Heard some noises at the front door but no door bell, checked and found the "sorry you were out" card. Kicked myself for not putting a "just leave it on the front step" note on the door, but I really wasn't expecting it.
Where do they think we were on a Saturday morning during a national lockdown? So they've got to deliver it a second time. Wish me luck.
