Just relax and breathe into this pillow. Everything will be fine. No it's not a marshmallow, I DON'T care how nice it tastes! ultra late edit: Moral, don't type stupid comment late at night! quick update on OTTM: (I'll be brief) Amazon didn't deliver on the 23rd, Amazon didn't deliver on the 24th or 25th, after much fiddling around trying find the refund setting, I cancel instead, now it says customer doesn't want the item! maybe I should charge for my time, making me wait in 3 days without any defined update. Ps: yes I re-ordered my star wars, but I'm really cross! (stampy feet sounds as Kane leaves)

Happier times; when my friends and I stayed here in the early '80s we played a Scrabble tournament - a really tough handicap competition as the leader of our Summer expeditions was UK National Scrabble Champion in '74 and runner up in '75. And took a game off him (with the benefit of a +50 pt start). If I could get a high points score against a guy nearly as strong as me, I would win the tourney... I scored 7 50pt bonuses and lost; he won the game because I gambled that he don't have the remaining blank AND Q... I played up to the top row going out for the fifth time leaving a C just before the double letter square between the 2 triple words on the left side of the board. He had R B I () T E Q... and played BRICQ(U)ET for 293 😒... I lost by only 65. *sigh* The gite was a strange place as we had to drive everywhere to get stuff, but like the picture the weather was glorious.

After posting that it was too close to tablet time - 5.30 a.m. to immediately go back to sleep and I found this brilliant performance by Chris of Christine and the Queens a week ago - wouldn't it be a good idea to have a weekend Music 'Box thread!?

Morning all!
Gamesblog: Amiga games. Banshee, a very-good vertical shooter. And a quick go on Indianapolis 500, a blazingly-fast 3D racer. Oh, and Nebulous, which though technically brilliant, plays pretty poorly.
TVblog: standard Justified.
Bookblog: Carried on with The Honourable Schoolboy, as my partner played FFVIIR for much of the evening.

Oh, and Nebulous, which though technically brilliant, plays pretty poorly. I loved both of those games. If I'm thinking of the right ones. Nebulus was the platformer where you control a sort of (nebulous) blob?

In honour of your dedication I have reset the time on my* Commodore Time Master. * You had your chance, and you blew it.** ** I don't blame you, it's not a pretty sight. Compared to my Pateau LED, it's terrible.

OTTM, if there was one, what was the 'box decision on which is the better game, Ass Origins or Ass Odyssey? Haven't played Origins, but Odyssey is very good indeed. I don't feel like I'm missing anything having not played the other one. Thank you, Sweet Amipal. With Odyssey being newer, I thought it might be 'better' but the internet people seemed split on the matter, albeit I only looked at a couple of sites. I think I was just trying to be Tighty McTight Pants from Tightshire, as Origins is £13 on PS Store, Odyssey is £20.

Morning!
Beers and a scorching madras were consumed last night. No games.
Today I'm going to try and muster up the enthusiasm to do some gardening as it looks like the lovely weather is about to turn. Might make lockdown even more trying, I guess.
OTTM, starting to have those weird vivid dreams people were going on about.

TuffersI was recently in the same AC bind - preferred Egypt to Greece as the setting, fancied spending less, and had anxieties about letting Danny Wallace back into my life. Took a gamble on Odyssey and it's v good. Has a Witcher 3 vibe.

Yes, I am on the 'box on the weekend, working hard I'll have you know, definitely not listening to Cocteau Twins and catching up on Friday's 'box then this one. Supposed to now rain for the next fortnight so am quite glad I got a 16 mile bike ride in yesterday. Less glad that apparently there was a fault with the mapping services Strava and others use so the first five miles of the ride have gone the way of today's London marathon. Normally I'd be up early to watch the elite runners, although with the increasingly daft rules about using running shoes that are basically sprung loaded, am losing interest in elite distance running. Ganes: A bit more of FFVII remake. I don't care if the soundtrack is £60 for the cds, I am buying that fcuker. It's the best game soundtrack ever. Yes, you heard it here first. Oh, you want actual game progress updates? Met a wolf/dog/human hybrid thing called XIII after killing yet another giant monstrosity in the Shinra Lab. Fillums: Couple of documentaries, started the Chicago Bulls one on Netflix, but couldn't maintain interest so switched to Resurfacing on Prime, the one about my second favourite tennis player Andy Murray. Having been on a similar journey to him regarding pain, surgery, quality of life (albeit currently without the hip replacement at the end) it's quite interesting. Given how much my hip hurts today after biking yesterday, I may well end up with a metal ball sticking out what remaing of my left femur OTTM: Some lovely Morretti yesterday, and a posh ready-meal curry from Sainsbury's. Had my first lockdown weirdo incident (I usually get them when under normal societal rules - why do weirdos always pick me to approach?) in the queue outside Sainsbury's. Normally in this situation I'd warn them once to walk away or I'll knock their teeth so far through their skull they'll be on baby food for the remainder of their lives, but as there was a quite attractive woman in front of me in the queue I played it cool and just repeated "Stay away" firmly and three times, upon which the cunt got the message and retreated. Do I have 'potential victim' tattooed on my forehead or something? Fucking weirdos. Worst was, if he'd just wanted me to get him something from inside the shop I would quite happily have done so, but he could have had that conversation with me from more than 2m away, there was no need to try and invade my personal space, especially not given the current rules. I don't really care about catching the virus, but I do care about getting attacked for the third time and having my face smashed in. Cunt. Long weekend next weekend people.

Tried to whisper to a guy that his fly was open yesterday in the shops. There was a pretty lady in front of him and didn't want him embarrassed. Threatened to knock my teeth in.

Hello.
I have decided, during the lockdown, to learn how to juggle; specifically how to do the three ball cascade.
How hard can it be? I have already mastered juggling with one ball.

If only you'd gone to Uni in the early 90s. Juggling was apparently de-rigeur.
TV. Beastie Boys chat/documentary thing. If you're any way interested in them give it a go. Interesting, funny, sad. Seem decent guys. Four stars.
Games. AC:NH. Managed to remember to buy some turnips today. 102 each seemed a tad expensive. Didn't realise you can only keep em a week. Either the child is stealing from my money trees or a couple haven't grown. Will Google.
Tom Raider (Shadow of?). Got mauled by a bear in the snow several times.
TD2. Wee run around doing bounties late on with my pal. Up far too late. Go to bed earlier please MrsC.

Unless I haven't made the snowy part of 'shadow of' yet. I put so many hours into Rise Of. Ended up at about 96% I think. By the end I was googling nerds doing walk-throughs to find the hidden relics etc so realised my life was spiraling out of control and gave up.
