At this point is it otiose (also probably unnecessary) to point out that technically Shenguin was dead some time before the Duos win?
I was playing the creeping game. Shengers foolishly got in to a fight and took down one person but got done murdered by his mate.
Who then tried to revive the initial victim. At this point I shot the second one.
I did not then go back to collect Shenguin as it was clearly not necessary.
I was in a bush at the bottom of a valley when I suddenly realised there were only 2 players left and I could see the other player.
I manger to get out of the valley without being seen and then saw him peering into it. So I shot him in the back a lot. He was dead instantly.
Unexpectedly competent
That is 4 wins now in approximately 2 weeks
2 for me, 1 for Shenguin one we were both alive for.

Games! Nothing that counts. Books! A little more Thoreau and some Borges. I have quite a few books where you can successfully enjoy them by beginning at a random page and then another after that chapter, and I think The Book of Imaginary Beings is the most restful of them. Soothing and very low-commitment.
The least restful is probably The Atrocity Exhibition, which is hardly surprising. Recommend.

Once I had finished listening to Nine Inch Nails I also listened to Ministry and Slayer
I find 80s/90s industrial metal surprisingly soothing, once I have stopped sobbing and the earache has gone.
I've also been listening to a lot of grunge and thrash.

All hail our glorious leader and congratulate him on his successful spawning. A difficult time, just as he was about to bravely face down that nasty Keir Starmer at PMQs and give him a good shoeing, his beloved soon-to-be wife, partner, and someone he in no way will ever cheat on and let down terribly, Carrie went into planned labour roughly 2 months before she was originally going to, just to stick it to the media.
How terribly convenient.

This mountain blade 2, can you play it without the combat? I loved that stuff in 1, wonky as it is, but I'm thinking of playing laptopously, wherein the mouse controls will likely be impossible to manage on a laptop trackpad.
Fond memories of playing Mountain blade multiplayer on the PS4 and repeatedly riding a horse up a siege ladder into a fortification and then riding around inside knocking peoples heads off. Top banana.
Games - Some AC. not much to report. Trials of Mana finally arrived in the post yesterday, but I couldn't be bothered to go through the pox decontamination process with the package so it is sitting where it fell through the letterbox. How is that one treating you tenth hen?
Watched the Stadia connect, which pretty much matched my usual expectations for Stadia. A complete waste of time. 8 teraflops of 4K 60fps ultra PC power streamed over the internet to play an indie game that looks like it would run fine on my phone.

Everlasting gratitude to crankcaller who just saved my financial bacon by letting me sell my neeps at his place when my prices where plummeting like a money rock someone dropped off a Dodo Airlines plane! I left in such a hurry that all I had on me to express my thanks was a standing spotlight I bought this morning that I left in front of Nook's Cranny. Thanks again. Although I've unlocked terraforming I haven't had any time to actually apply any of it although Isabelle is dropping not so subtle hints that I should. Need to really think about it what I want to do as my spending habits with the Able Sisters is crippling and moving things around is costly. On the whole I'm quite happy with the layout of my island, my main gripe is the confluence of two rivers on the upper level that needs to be changed as currently it can't be bridged. But I need to be very sure about this because infrastructure is so expensive. Oh, and Pyjakson ! If you want communication to be easier you need to accept my BFF request. Or do you not trust me and my axe... and my shovel... couldn't possibly know why... And did my rotten turnip work? Pass it on to Crank, will ya? |

Nope, when Mrs Tids went to do some stuff at the tellers windows, Mr Tids went to sit down at the customer seating area to rest his peachy buns. He did not make it. "You can't sit there, you're too close to the staff in the offices!". Tids: "They are at least 12ft away from me and you are now within the 6ft rule." Customer assisant: "Erm.." Tids: "Idiot." At this point Tids is removed from the bank...
