I don't know why I do these things to myself, but, Mrs Tids offered to make a Fray Bentos pie with mash and peas last night. I accepted this.
'Just Chicken' it proudly proclaimed on the front, however, a cursory check of the ingredients on the rear revealed only 17% chicken. Mr Bentos, you are a liar.

12 off done, now back to 'work'. smh. How's everyone's lock down going?
Ganes! Haven't touched WoW in a week now. One step at a time, so they tell me in the meetings. This was obviously due to becoming addicted to a new game, that being Mount and Blade 2. They seem to have taken everything good about Mount and Blade 1 and made it better, whilst adding new stuff. Aren't sequels supposed to remove a load of content to sell back to you later? Idiots, it's like they hate money. Anyway, if you liked the first, I recommend the second. They tried to add a kind of story to it, which is a lie. Do not try to rattle off the quests, *insert it's a trap gif*. My first attempt left me at war with pretty much everyone. I did manage to buy most of the towns and castles though, in the few moments of peace I purchased, as money is remarkably easy to earn. Anyway, I started a second attempt and I'm ignoring the main quests for a long while to take things much slower. Or at least, I would be, if I hadn't found a new game to switch to. Troubleshooter: Abandoned Children is the shiny new one. It's kind of like Xcom with an anime type story (not usually my thing but it seems ok so far, no outwardly stupid or lecherous characters). It works and plays well so seeing how it goes.
TV! Finally got up to date with Killing Eve. So good. Just in time for Last Kingdom s4 to be released it seems. Good times!

Played Shogun 2, it's pretty good though I'm not yet sold on some aspects of it. Hoping it's just a case of it being a new game. Feels a bit hollow at points much like Empire. We shall see...

Forgot how tricky that can be. TVblog: Lost in Space. Demoblog: last night's demos: Nexus7LoveGoaI think Goa was my favourite out of the three. Only got to watch half of Love, as my monitor wouldn't sync to whatever strange screenmodes the demo chucks out at the end. |

Games - Shogun Total War.
Haven’t got a clue what the special formations do when you group units, so just stick with line of spears, line of archers, swordsmen on the sides and cavalry waiting to mop up. Seems to be doing the job. Firebomb throwers are a bust, they run away when they’re close enough to do any damage, and only get one lob in before being overwhelmed, and do too much collateral damage to have near other troops.
Gibberish? Yes. Authentic? Yes. Frontier? Possibly not.
