The "remove img tag" is only if you use the bbcode link from imgur, if you have a direct link to the image do the above or follow Destry's advice.

My route is a bit round the houses.
Open image in new tab. Go to new tab. Copy image URL.
Come back here. Post in desktop Modena's I'm usually on a mobile device. Post URL in the image upload icon thing.
Boom!
{Edit} Desktop Modina is in mourning with the rest of the family probably.

If you right click on the image, select copy link address, then paste that in the image link box it should work.

It also applies to any image you see if you can get a valid image format from the url e.g. .jpg, .png etc. etc. also gifs are images. |

I have no experience at all in computing and had to figure it out for myself. I've been doing it à la Felice without anyone telling me, which shows that his is the natural and intuitive way of posting pictures here.
