Looks like we got ourselves a 'jumper'.
That's right folks, a woman in the next block of flats is threatening to jump out of a 4th storey apartment. Cops and Fire Brigade in attendance. Would this be a bad time to go out there with 'The House of Pain - Jump Around' playing on my mobile phone? I think not.

That's either a long night or a very bad morning.

I have no idea stxdpr. All quiet now (her mother's turned up) - emergency services have left.

I find it quite disconcerting in Plymouth when visiting small shops. Especially when being served by a female shop assistant decades younger than yourself.
Tids: I'd just like to purchase these please. Assistant: Of course you can, my lover. Tids: Oh, I'll have a twix as well. Assistant: You can have anything you want, my angel.
I bet you don't get that in Croydon. Up-selling at it's finest.

Morning! Ganes? no Telly? Mosaic. OK. Ottm: non-stop ripping and uploading of CDs to google, in anticipation of an unfettered and varied listening experience. 4 hours later and I am still on 'A'. At this rate I am probably going to give up before I reach Backstreet Boys, never mind Neil Young.

Did Tiddles buy his confectionery in a whore house? Yeh, but your Mum was busy - so I left with a twix. Same price.* *No offence** **Seriously, no offence. p.s. How's the bum?

Repost from yestertag: I don't know whether it's always like that with twins ( amipal probably has an opinion) but these two are extremely competitive for food, attention, and affection (in that order). Not easy to live with. To be honest, I never felt any real competition with my brother for anything. But then I've never known what life is like growing up as an only-child or having older/younger siblings! To me, it was normal. Not very helpful, I know!

Morning Everyone! I have been awake for fucking hours. Did I ever mention that I don't have any children?
I have made a Waitrose order though, so that's probably more than enough achievement for this weekend.

I bet you don't get that in Croydon. Up-selling at it's finest. Narp! A standard day at a corner shop in south Croydon (honest) shop assistant - "WHAT, CAN'T YOU SEE I'M BUSY" continues tapping away on phone customer - "I'd like to buy a loaf of bread and a 2 pint of milk please" (politely as possible to diffuse the assistant) shop assistant - "nah mate I can't sell you that it has been set aside for essential customers what work in 'ealth innit" continues with head down on the phone customer - "so you are telling me that you can't sell it to me because I'm not essential?" inquisitively looking at assistant shop assistant - "yeah yous no one bruv innit, an' anyway I just sold them all on ebay for a profit though and we is closed" customer notes a sign from the manager stating that there is a reduced staff meaning he buggered off home and left the moron in charge. Customer leaves fuming.

Just went onto that site, then scrolled down, Peter Cech does a great drumming routine to Toxicity system of a down. As it's on YT I can now look up more of this gentleman's fine drumming. cheers to Mr. Chumbles for this fine find.

At this rate I am probably going to give up before I reach Backstreet Boys, never mind Neil Young. I started ripping to FLAC in 2011. It took me 3 years to complete it. I had about 3,000 CDs. I then had to record my LPs which took another 2 years. Midway through this Istarted downloading 6TB of bootlegs and concerts from the internet. I am still sorting this latest pile. It was definitely a relief when I finished ripping Neil Young CDs.
