After watching my son run down a hill, through long grass (while holding his hat), I've decided to watch Raiders of the Lost Ark tonight. Not "Little House on the Prairie"?

My Neptune's Pride 2 game has gone from 4 vs 2 to 6 vs 2... It seems the by now game leaders coming up from the South have decided that WardX and I are still regarded as a significant threat; but my two attackers ( square purple and circle cyan) have 5 times my ships and superior technology ... It's taken them 20 weary days to get this far, but far from being a threat I can't block ANY of the incoming attacks indicated by the purple and blue lines. I've used up all my ships over the last 7 days ... Days ago I told you this was a lost game but I can't help battling on. I am circle red

No shade Chumbles but a lot of games you describe seem to be a lot of people banding together against you.

Is it possible to create a 'rolling thunder' blockade - two lines of 5 units in each where the rear line attacks after the front line has retreated but moving slightly forward as they do, forcing the adversary backward? (I of course no nothing about this game but I know it worked in Zulu)!

No shade Chumbles but a lot of games you describe seem to be a lot of people banding together against you. That's the problem with being really good at a game... Winning 51 victories of a game where the number of players in each game varies between 7 and 32, one of them was a 64 player game is fucking difficult. More to the point, the more that Victory count goes up, the more of a target you become for all the jealous little wannabes in the game. And unlike most experienced players in the game I spend a lot of my valuable time teaching struggling noobs the basics, even having created a guide to help them through the early steep learning curve where the majority of experienced players gobble them up like pikes gobble up minnows. In truth one such a player is in the N alliance in that game I'm currently losing.

It's a lovely idea, but combat is on stars only. Also the combat is an attrition model... Basically, if your 100 ships attacks my 50, you will gain the star and we both lose 50 ships. It's a little more complex than that, but essentially NP2 is a strategic game, not a tactical one.

I behaved like a little shit towards my poor older brother. I feel bad about it but now we are best friends. It helps that I haven't tried poking him in the eye for a while (I had watched the Three Stooges and was an inquisitive child). . Shenguin has a record for aggressive assaults when Blues score. Fortunately we do not score many goals. These include a significant attempt at strangling at Bolton in 2014. While someone else hit me in the head. In his defence I was attempting to crush his ribs at the time. It is not as bad as the old terraces. Which were like a mosh pit on a steep slope. With added steel barriers. And populated with people who got their fun through significant street violence. Fantastic times though. It's a good job Steve Whitton did not score very often Even so by 16 I knew enough to fully understand that a steel barrier is not your friend. I remember being in the railway end one game and that rarest of rare things, Blues scoring, occurred. Can't remember the exact game or reason we were so ecstatic but the subsequent celebratory fracas resulted in my lovely Swatch Metroscape getting broken beyond repair. I asked Swatch nicely if they could replace / repair it (back then at least they were all limited editions so couldn't get a replacement easily unlike now where they're all over eBay) as the build quality clearly wasn't what it should have been given the price point and origin. They sent me a £15 voucher. From that day forth I swore never again to buy anything Swatch. Cheapskate cunts.

TV. Mrs America
Games. AC:NH Just bought some Turnips. Are they always over 100 at sale?
Tomb Raider. Despite a lack of poisoned arrows I managed to batter the first bear. Did the frozen boat extra tomb.
Games/OTTM. The child did the May Day maze in AC.NH with only one pointer from me. Pleased with that!
I've a sore neck/shoulder/arm. Quite sore. Have taken ibroprufen (yes, I know) and if not showing signs of easing in 4 hrs I've some paracetamol with codeine.
