Planet of the Knobheads? I believe the preferred nomenclature is "bellends", as dictate by Keef.
By obviously that was before The Fall of Old Box. We dance to the tune of our benevolent Admin now. All hail Admin!

Morning all,
Watched Halloween III: Season of the Witch last night. Quite enjoyed it.
Also am getting my rig cleaned and a nice 16GB memory upgrade.

Also am getting my rig cleaned and a nice 16GB memory upgrade. Are you adding a second stick of RAM to one already? If so have you looked at your motherboard manual to check the positions each stick should go in? Also, and this is probably a bit overkill, but most motherboards have an online site where you can look to check a specific model of RAM is compatible with that board. Finally, have you found the sweet spot of RAM speed for your setup and do you know how to increase the speed beyond the default low speed?

Finally, have you found the sweet spot of RAM speed for your setup and do you know how to increase the speed beyond the default low speed? I'm using a local shop which has always been very good and in fact supplied me with the rig I have. I only have 2 slots on the motherboard (A320M S2H CF), so they are going to keep 1 4GB stick and add a 16GB stick in the other slot. I realise it'll need to match the existing one in terms of speed (2133 Mhz). They know what I currently have so assume they'll be matching it. I drop the rig round, they clean, add the new memory and test it. The AMD Ryzen 3 220g is good but automatically takes 2GB of RAM or thereabouts. More RAM means I can play stuff a bit easier (nothing crazy but I noted that BG 3 suggests 16 GB of RAM). Realise I could do much of this myself but I am worried about somehow ruining the machine. It's a local place and they are very good so don't mind paying for it. Plus they will clean my rig which (puts tip of finger in mouth) is a dirty rig and needs it.

Morning slammers!
On the trains again, just realised last week I neglected to fling coffee over myself. Rookie error.
This morning I’m full of, to quote Alan Titchmarsh, “big dick energy”. Another motivational talk (high calibre - I’ve previously been described as “not him again” and “doesn’t give a fuck”), then I’m being put out to pasture for a few weeks.
No rod hull on the train, thanks bat pox.

After quite a few rough nights child number 2 let us sleep through to 6 a.m. this morning.
Games: Still playing Doom 2016 where I can, game seems a bit on the long side. Currently smashing my way through hell for a third time.
Telly: The new Walking Dead spin off, I will give it one more episode but it seems very average so far.
Weather: Cloudy out.

Ooh ooh ooh

Just remembered I did have something to say. Last night I watched the classic 1989 film Road House. Patrick Swayze in top knuckle crunching form. Top 5 GOAT.
Like a young Tuffers.

I watched the Director's cut of Das Boot (subtilted) on Blu ray over the weekend Plus 3 hours of documentaries finishing last night. Nearly 7 hours n total
Recommended.
I am now ready to watch the modern TV series.. I've also got a DVD of the original series which is longer than the Directors' cut.
The social bubble is far too close and too large. Apart from that it is an ideal film for paranoid times.

It was very cramped, and that was with most of the equipment ripped out of it for refit. Can’t imagine spending 6 months on one.

It's absolutely fantastic, a strong recommend. I had the Xbox version before and that was very smooth and playable too. Along with Titanfall 2 it is the best game of this generation for me.
