I'm making a Korma later. When the wife is away on Friday I will make a vindaloo. I will probably go with lamb though.
There was a local takeaway that specialised in weird curry meat, things like duck, ostrich and pheasant. Don't think they lasted long, it was probably all pigeon.

Rumour has it uni fees are going up by a grand or so. Marvelous. Thank you Labour, nursery fees nearly broke me and now they have stopped I need to start saving for uni for the kids.

I got blackout drunk on Saturday night. Yesterday was not a great day, epic hangover. Cold and wet out. You do it to yourself, you do, and that’s what really hurts… My favourite curry house also served up a Madras that was very light on the meat. |

Is that good? I've never been fishing. There was a guy opposite who caught 5 perch and two Chinese students who caught nothing ( bless them they were lure fishing on a lake where it's particularly ineffective but they seemed really nice guys). It's a tricky park lake which is 9 metres deep and you need loads of bait to keep the fish interested in feeding up in the water. Catching on the bottom is really tricky as they don't like going that deep to feed. There's rumoured to be catfish and Zander in there. I saw someone actually catch a Zander in there in 2010, not fished it much since then. |

The Last Jedi. Actually enjoyed it, the arty salt planet was good and Luke's ending was well done. The whole gambling planet and Del Toro cameo lets it down though. 4 out 5. Probably still too much of a homage to Empire too.
The Rise of Skywalker: Fucking awful stuff. The Emperor just rehashes his old dialogue. Why were the enemy ships so easily defeated? What the fuck is Finn desperate to tell Rey? Leia's death was shit. Ben Solo's character ark was shit. A major, wheezing bag of dicks of a film. 2 out of 5.
