On the way home and popping into the chippy for dinner. Not had one in ages. Nice healthy start to 2018 the first night we're both back at work. Same. Also bought a bottle of Irn Bru just to top off the healthiness.

Who had the best lunch then? I had a cheese sandwich. A tortilla stack. I say stack, it was more of a mulch. I say tortilla, it was pretty indistinguishable layers of sludge. Basically, the works canteen fucked up a lasagna and tried to pass it off like they meant it. Tasteless. 4 stars.

Morning bitches, Back in the lab after a few weeks off. My supervisor is a miserable old twat. He seems to look down on me for my daily chai latte habit, but spent all morning showing me photos of the "war dollies" he painted, like a child. I mostly just play on my phone and ignore him and hope he'll go away. #killmenow, #zomgbossesofinsta @gamesblog none. Its true, I am a miserable old twat. Years of exposure to humanity has ensured that.

In other news, the millennial rat is back. I hoped against hope he would just never return. Kill me or kill him, either way put me out of my misery. I urge you to seek common ground and use this to build a foundation for a fruitful friendship. Have you tried having a latte with him? Have you asked to see his photos of his gap year travels? Perhaps he has insightful beard grooming tips? I'd rather fucking die. Or him. Could someone just DO something? Anything?!

HI!
Mostly GT Sport over the weekend. Still struggling to translate poles into wins. I am the worst. I'm up to an A safety rating, sadly even at this level there are total cock holes who would rather smack you off the road than see you pass them safely. I think I might bin it, thanks online community!

What does Mr Hen do when you're on a gaming bender? I've been playing GT sport most of the night while Mrs Zord watches...Elementary...on the small telly upstairs. Im glad I don't have to watch...Elementary...its fucking awful. Mr Tent Rooster usually sits next to me and reads, while both of us amuse the cat, who sits between us. My consoles are connected to just a screen, not a telly, but he doesn't like watching telly on his own (he's bad at operating anything with a screen and a menu, that's why any television needs to be consensual - but I've got the power. Heheh). Never watched Elementary. We liked the BBC Sherlock and I've (probably) read all Sherlock Holmes stories by Conan Doyle. What's wrong with it? Is it just American guff? It's the worst kind of American guff. The only thing that's even Holmesian about it is the character names

Morning all, Last day off before returning to university and currently sitting in a truck stop waiting for the AA after springing a radiator leak. Looking at an hour plus wait. Gaming - some 3DS bravely default and a realistic phone based multiple choice quiz. Nearly finished bravely default. Recent Monster Hunter chats puts me in mind to start Monster Hunter 4 next. Wargaming - some lovely stuff. How long did it take you to get that good? I dabbled a bit in my teens but never progressed much beyond the 6 year old left alone with some paints quality. Good luck dude, hope you don't have to wait too long. Just in the last 10 years or so was when I really started concentrating on it. Before it was just a case of painting stuff so I could game with it but I discovered one day I actually rely enjoyed making scenery, and that really made me up my game for whatever reason. The painting bug really bit me when I won a best painted prize at a Bolt Action tournament 5 years ago, totally didn't expect it and since then I've gone all out on whatever army I do, base boards, unit markings, the works. This is the Battle of the Bulge German infiltrators I did the other year that have won me 3 best painted prizes. They are in my opinion the best thing I've ever done.

To judge by the space set aside for his hobby, Melvazord clearly has a massive house. I'd feel jealous if it wasn't in Northampton. It does pretty much take up an entire room of my house, but I've been doing this for 30 years this year and stuff tends to accumulate. Modellers are notorious hoarders.

Yeah, I had to google that as well. Kids eh? Its for wargames, but sometimes I make stuff just to make it Are they elaborate set ups? At risk of breaking an unspoken chatterbox rule not to encourage you, I wouldn't mind seeing some photos... Oh god no, we wouldn't want to encourage people. But nevertheless... The first is a Burrows and Badgers game(fantasy Redwall style, thing). That's not me in the background. That's Jon, the Friendly Gamer. The second is from a Bolt Action (WW2) tournament I was at last year, I didnt get to play on that table sadly. The bloke who did the rail bridge makes architectural models for a living. So yes, they can be fairly elaborate.

He uses them to chirpse women obviously. If you're wanting to use youth slang and be understood, you've got the wrong audience. Yeah, I had to google that as well. Kids eh? Its for wargames, but sometimes I make stuff just to make it

Getting there A health and safety nightmare. As my labs safety supervisor I enjoy chaos but where it doesn't cause me any paperwork That's not random shit. That's shit that's there for a reason... the reason being that you didn't tidy up. But everything once had a reason to be there. Will you soon be the owner of Britain's fastest hobby room? Will your hobby desk achieve optimal aerodynamics once it's been cleaned up? Will you take your hobby room to the Nürburgring and get a silly sticker? Its pretty much the slowest hobby room ibn the west, considering I have projects years behind. Also, a silly decal would be more appropriate. Is that a metal detector on the right? Are you a Detectorist? EDIT: Or do you use it to find your tools among the other shit? Its a magnifying light, I have terrible eyes because of the treatment I got for the cancer. How does that joke feel now? Just fucking with you, I don't care, but that is true. Interesting that Melvazord suddenly has to clear out his 'hobby room' the same day the Northampton cat killer is released on bail... If I find the person that's doing that I WILL be the one going to jail, the evil cunt.

I had the chicken burger. It was a poor choice, as the bun it came in was originally formed some time around the Cretaceous judging by its solidity and I would have described the chicken not so much as a burger but more along the lines of an enlarged nugget.
The relevant number of stars.
"Triggered" is also a loverly Daily Mail word, well done
