Morning! Mastodon were superb on Saturday night, they played for close to two hours and there wasn’t a dull moment in the entire set. Russian Circles and Red Fang were also very good. Anyone catching this tour is in for a real treat. Games: None Red Fang as well?! Mo-to-the-fo. I need to keep up with who is touring. I see the Guardian is getting meta with their 'salt in the wound' article lamenting the closure of online communities. Bastards. |

Played Grans Tiramisu a bunch yesterday. The penalty system does make some people drive more carefully, but there is always one bellend who drives like a fucking rocket and knocks you off the road.
Sadly, the penalty system is also flawed, given that some prat smashed me off the road into the barrier, and I got a ten second penalty.
Its also not really harsh enough, because if someone plants you into a corner, and they get, on average, a 3 second penalty, most of the time you've lost more than 3 seconds track time, meaning they've gained an advantage.
All told though, its better than nothing, and does mean most people try to avoid you.

I had to Google the correct spelling of coop. It shows the little 'shopping' thing at the top; £100+ for a coop! Rolling must be doing alright. Although I guess he's saving the money from not having to go down the co-op. £100? Lol. Ours was a lot more than that, I think it must be an en-suite. However, a Tesco free range egg costs about 14.6p. 3 eggs a day, that's about £3 per week saved on eggs. £150 a year. £600 over the 4 years since we got them. Plus, I eat so many eggs that I never go to the loo any more, so there are significant knock-on savings on toilet roll. I clicked "like" on that. I'm not so sure that I liked it, but it certainly generated a reaction. Unlike your colon. |

Sharing a tent next to the M6 with three chickens does not make you a farmer. What about the M5? Asking for a freind. Generally, sharing any kind of temporary shelter with livestock next to a major motorway is not considered to be any kind of farming or any other industry. Its just a blanket thing. Probably something to do with the EU. |

Cremations are too dull these days, we should be harking back to the times of old when a corpse would be strapped to a raft of wood with other flammables and left to drift down the Thames, a skilled archer would then fire a flaming arrow when the raft is about 100 yards away to engulf the body to ease its passage into Sovngarde. Morning! Not much gaming got done last night, although I have rediscovered Fire Emblem Heroes, much to my wallet’s dismay. I’m mostly just counting the hours today as I’m seeing Mastodon live in Cardiff tomorrow. I mean I knew Wales was backward, but I didn't realise they still had pre-historic creatures roaming the streets. I kid, Mastodon are the shit. Leviathan is a metal masterpiece. I'm fairly jealous. |

Them video games the kids are all into: Gran's Tiramisu. I won my first online race last night after god knows how many tries. Alain Prost I am not.
It was a bloody good race, I qualified second and the whole race was me and the guy who got pole just swapping first and second miles ahead of everyone else, pushing each other to go faster and faster. Then on the last lap he was ahead but I was right on his bumper. He made a bit of an error going through the fast left-right that enabled me to pull slight alongside, then, on the 3rd to last corner, which was a hard right, he outbraked himself a little going out wide and I used all the road I could to squeeze him over to the left even further which put me in front of him going through the last fast s-bend and I won by about 0.1 of a second.
It was a great, very fair race and I don't think we touched the whole way round.
That telly: More Penny Dreadful. The old guy with the mad hair is the best.
