Last live music I saw was on Sunday, a String Duo playing Bach, a bit of other Baroque composers and folk music. They were very good.
Last week I saw Nonsuch Dulcimer Society, playing a variety of Dulcimers. Tomorrow it's two bands and a DJ set.
It's because I live in a shit-hole one-horse backwater; what's on round here is what I get to see, and Tay-Tay isn't scheduled to visit any time soon.

When I was a kid someone in a car stopped to ask for directions as he had someone in the car who was in need of A&E at the hospital. The person I was with gave him directions for completely the wrong direction. It wasn't you was it ? I think there's quite a lot in this to unpack. Morning cryptosporidium fans! It seems not drinking like Oliver Reed for a while makes you lose weight. My moobs must be down to a B Cup already. As an ethnic / cultural grouping, Gypsy should be capitalised, and not merely used as a term to denote itinerance. The trope of a Gypsy curse is not unproblematic. It's used (often light-heartedly) to blame Gypsies for perceived bad luck. It's a trope based on suspicion of a foreign group, the other, the outsiders -- they might have malign magical powers used to bring bad luck upon us.
