Another item attracting interest is Kaczynski's Smith-Corona typewriter. Bids for that are currently around the $11,000 mark.
Other items have attracted less attention. The top bid for a hand-bowed wood saw that Kaczynski used is currently only $310, while handwritten letters to his Aunt Frida are only getting bids around $250."

I had a cheese sandwich too. Plus red onion and mayo. Let’s talk bread. I’m on kingsmill wholemeal at the moment and, you know what? It’s not as good as hovis. That extra 5p a loaf really is worth it.
Those who are most evangelical about “cheese sandwiches” are not the average black ghetto- dweller, Asian immigrant, abused woman or disabled person, but a minority of activists, many of whom do not even belong to any “oppressed” group but come from privileged strata of society. Predictalbly mundane lunches have their stronghold amongst white collar professional slackers, lab monkeys and whatever the fuck it is Scubar does, who have secure employment with salaries far in excess of ther actual worth, and the majority of whom are heterosexual white males from middle- to upper-middle-class families who can’t stand them. And quite right too.

a mate of mine worked at the GMC (General Medical Council) a number of years back. He was asked to clear out a bunch of files and came across a number of letters between Harold Shipman and his patients. He was very tempted to put them by and either sell or simply wait it out but it crossed a line for him, which I can understand.

See cookshops with the rolling gadgets in them but never really thought about DIY pasta as a thing. We make pasta once a week. It's pretty easy and the kids enjoy it. Cooks in 2 min as well. |

When my daughter was young she used to want alphabetti spaghetti, but we bought cheaper own brand spaghetti hoops. When she complained I told her that we'd bought the alphabetti tins but it turned out they were all full of 'O's |
