hi I feel terrible. I took part in a 'Zoom' call last night, between about 8 and 10. After finishing ... I felt terrible. I had the shakes, the shivers, I couldn't get warm, I felt sensitive to the touch - aching. This morning I feel similar, but with a headache too. What's happening to me? Sounds like flu, or some other similar virus. Paracetamol, plenty of fluids, and a COVID test. Eat if you feel hungry, and eat what you want. Also strong coffee and sugar if you want to try to ignore it, but bed rest would be better. Do you have swollen glands? Especially in your neck or thighs. Any sign of a rash, ulceration, swelling, of skin discolouration anywhere? These might point to it being something worse than a deadly virus. If by shaking you meant serious loss of muscle control beyond shivering with cold, then it could also be something worse than a deadly virus. You have a heart of gold.
Maybe I do need a COVID test. It feels like flu. I feel like I'm on the edge of imminent physical and psychological collpase.
I don't mean to be melodramatic.
I went running in the snow yesterday. I wonder if I have a 'chill'? Maybe I have deep-chilled my bones.

Although, if you've been doing exercise and drinking, and have left the windows open and turned the heating off, that could also account for your symptoms.

I watched the first episode of this last night. Tbh, I was a wee bit pissed at the time and made no sense of it whatsoever. 4* That probably didn’t help. It’s a grower. Onto the second series now. I wasn't that drunk, it just seemed a bit formulaic. |
