Lots of snow here. I still got kid 2 to nursery though, so she's someone else's problem for a few hours!
The games: I made some progress with Cyberpunk and have now reached "the point of no return" so I must no finish off all side quests before I lose them.
I did some sledging with kid 1 yesterday, shoved him down a steepish hill and he went for miles into the field. Second go he fell off and cried #DopeDads.

Morning all,
Saw the Gathering Storm DLC for Civ 6 was on offer so picked it up. I really enjoy the early part of Civ 6 but my interest wanes as it goes on.
Unsure about the frequency of the social policies tree which pops up every other turn. Previous versions of Civ seemed to place a greater importance on these sorts of choices, bit pointless if researching them takes only a few turns.

I had to reload an earlier Witcher save yesterday. Seems my pottering around caused one of the Ciri quests to fail.
I also downloaded the Gwent iOS app. Can’t see a thing on the phone as it’s so small. Need to try it on the iPad.

Fillums. A bit of 'The Sting'. Lovely stuff.
Games. Minecraft. Have ventured out of my safety cave and made an outpost. Earlier the child was going nuts in creative mode. We made a house and I left her to it whilst I made dinner. I returned to a llama farm with llamas *everywhere*
Work. Zoom call at 11 with punters. Terrific.
Ottm. Still have a stiff neck.

Plenty of snow and more expected due to the orange warning.
Made it to half time in the soup bowl, then fell asleep sat up in my chair so now feel terrible today.
Jims, spent ages creating a Monster Hunter character, then did the intro, before getting to choose a weapon (bewildering). Followed that by trying out said weapon in the training zone (not a clue), tried other weapons (no idea) and have a pet cat that follows me around (I can change his clothes). Classic Capcom.

Amigablog: some modelling in Cinema4D to create a player spacecraft, based on a Lego one I built last week.
Snowblog: a light dusting here. A few flakes still falling now, but not adding much to what has laid.

I took part in a 'Zoom' call last night, between about 8 and 10. After finishing ... I felt terrible. I had the shakes, the shivers, I couldn't get warm, I felt sensitive to the touch - aching. This morning I feel similar, but with a headache too.
What's happening to me?

Sounds like flu, or some other similar virus. Paracetamol, plenty of fluids, and a COVID test. Eat if you feel hungry, and eat what you want. Also strong coffee and sugar if you want to try to ignore it, but bed rest would be better. Do you have swollen glands? Especially in your neck or thighs. Any sign of a rash, ulceration, swelling, of skin discolouration anywhere? These might point to it being something worse than a deadly virus. If by shaking you meant serious loss of muscle control beyond shivering with cold, then it could also be something worse than a deadly virus. |
