Following on from the trainer discussion, I always used to wear DM shoes, then a few years back I joined the Pref.Mam on their "activity"* holiday so naturally I bought some trainers** to take part, tennis was mentioned, obviously no sport was taken part in.
Worn them ever since and now if I have to wear DMs it's blister city.
*They normally took a week off and went on their own to do Windsurfing, kayaking etc. **Proper running things not the Dad ones

Skate shoes, leather pumas/other if winter or superga type ones if summer.
Would kill for a boxfresh pair of Travel Fox. {edit}The suede skate shoe - not the garish hi-tops. Hello.
Games. No. Actually, yeah. Started the heist in GTA again. Will need to YouTube the first part where you're sneaking about.
TV. The series about hip hop songs that changed the world.

Trainerchat: do you want Limnis? ‘cause that’s how you get Limnis.

Really cold out there.
Trainer chat: Nowadays always some decent Adidas. Used to love beefy Van's skater trainers but their current crop are terrible. I would like another pair of Nike Air Max 90's edition, but they had a habit of soaking up foot sweat and stinking.

You're not going raving now so they probably won't soak up as much sweat.
Don't think I've owned a pair of Adidas since the 80s. Those 500 ZX ones caught my eye a couple of times. There are a lot of terrible skate shoe designs about these days. Just like my face.
The decent ones are tre expensive.

Morning all.
Gamesblog: nope.
TVblog: Wandavision and Superstore.
Amigablog: copied a ton of games over to my desktop A1200, and tried out Super Street Fighter II. It’s... not great. No wonder that coder is having another go.
Trainerblog: I switched to walking trainers around seven years ago. First Meindl, and more recently, North Face.

When actually working in the office I tend to sport Clarks comfy boots or comfy doc boots or in summer/spring tie up moccassin/deck shoe type things.
It's all gone a bit Imelda Marcus.
Just had some Asda branded porridge. It was no Quaker oats. More floor scraping from the Quaker factory.

Trainerchat: 2 pairs of Adidas and a pair of Vans. Plus one pair of running shoes that probably cost more than all the others combined.
Also one pair of generic office wanker shoes.
That's five pairs of shoes. Don't think I've ever owned so many before. It makes me feel a bit uncomfortable to be honest.

3 pairs of trainers: Slazenger & Everlast, I think. Cheapos at £25 a pop. 1 pair of clown shoes for official business.
I wear all my footwear until it disintegrates.
OTTM: I couldn't sleep until 5.30 am last night.

Hi
I just logged in to 'like' gongs picture. That is pretty sweet.
OTTM, once the cricket is done I'm going to attempt to chisel the car out of its frozen overcoat and see if it will start.

In my defence.... it was the 1980s 1969 Pontiac Firebird. Nice.
I hope you chucked that homeless bloke off it.

I also love this. I only had a Pontiac Firebird matchbox car in the 1980s so I would have been standing in that carpark looking on with awe.

Looking at that pic now makes me wonder what I miss most.... the car, the slimmiish waist, or the non grey hair. The car by the way is still taxed tested and on the road at 52 years old. I fear it is going to outlive me.

I own one pair of M&S trainers which I only use for cycling.
Other than that, sturdy thick-soled and cleated but smartish brown brogue boots, walking boots, and steel toe-cap boots. I don't like exposing my ankles, even in thick socks, because of the risk of sex people looking at me.
