Tuffers I was going to write stuff but will leave it that you agree with Sajid Javid is enough of a response. Also I'm in a pub.

Today is my Thursday. Unfortunately I have not done Mon-Wed's work. I am going roaming. Seeing a couple of friends to watch the game on Wed. Then going to see a dinosaur on Friday. It is ages since I have been to a museum and even longer since I have been to a dinosaur museum (2016?). I have big hopes. I would like a new dinosaur book. I used to visit Wollaton Park a lot as a kid. Also, I think their new T-Rex is only 20% fossil, the rest is just metal or such.

Tuffers I think I agree with you. In a loose kind of a way. I don’t mind too much, whatever happens. I’m content to be at home, but it’s tough for the pubs, clubs and restaurants. I don’t feel too scandalised that things are scheduled to return on the 19th. I mean … you can’t really ‘follow the science’, because science is always ... harnessed to, and in support of, other interests. I mean science leads nowhere on its own, except to … knowledge. Which is fine if … knowledge is your treasure … but … really it can only be used to advise otherwise political / social / economic decisions (maybe?) .... It’s always going to be hard to lift restrictions once they’re in place though. Especially if it might lead to an increase in deaths.

What is the best dinosaur? My favourite is the Ankylosaurus. The one that looks a bit like an armadillo, but with a spiky club at the end of its tail. My namesake! I am indeed the best dinosaur

In my defence, I did say 'for once' ! *goes for cold shower* You did try to disguise it by calling him the Health Secretary. Just imagine before June 26th you'd be agreeing with Matt Hancock. Finally you also agree with Boris Johnson. A Hat Trick. I think restrictions need to be lifted, but not necessarily in one big bang, I'd keep masks for shopping and public transport.

Ah, I need to look into this as I only have the NHS Scotland app, and next week I will be in England to celebrate football coming home with Sir Harold and the Queen. I am not sure if the apps are compatible. When I was in the Lakes I couldnt get the english app because it asks you for your postcode and didnt accept scottish postcodes. Which is silly.

Oof.
That's brutal from Felice. Fair play.

One thing I noticed when I was out on Friday was how expensive things had become. The average price for a pint of beer in the London pubs I was in was £6, then there’s the added 12.5 percent service charge.
And you can’t really begrudge it because the pubs need to make some money back, and there aren’t many occasions when you can go and spend money, but … prices rise and don’t often go down again, and the public sector pay rises are likely to be very small to reduce public spending and to counter inflation.
It’s just a bit unsettling for the months / years ahead.

Hung, drawn and quartered in one post. I miss Chumbles, he would see us right in this age of uncertainty, or give us our daily bread and a thorough bollocking.
Chumbles. If you're out there, Faceless requires a premium bollocking.

I prefer butter to be honest. I'd tend to get Anchor. Not sure why. Someone once told me the cows had more freedom to roam, and now I'm in the habit. The Anchor habit.

I tend to buy Yeo Valley slightly salted butter. The price is reasonably comparable to other butter. Possibly cheaper per gram than Lurpak spreadable. Though I notice that it is 10pcheaper in Waitrose than in Sainsbury. The middle class dividend.

We had this the other day A delightful butter. I'd cover myself with it and pop myself in the oven, given half a chance.
