Everyone prefers butter there is a pratical/convenient reason not to use it a lot of times. What are the practical / convenient reasons? ... Spreading and time.

We had this the other day A delightful butter. I'd cover myself with it and pop myself in the oven, given half a chance. That is very expensive butter, only HM The Queen could afford to spread that all over herself

What are the practical / convenient reasons? ... Spreading and time. I don't want to invalidate your truth - your lived experience but ... If you 'scrape' the butter from the top of the block then it's just as quick and easy to spread.

I bought a tub of Lurpak the other day and it was £4!!! When did that happen? We're a Flora household, what's the difference? Lurpak is butter, Flora is margarine and doesnt have any butter. They milk plants and use plant milk in Flora.
I'm not anti-flora I like that too and might get some if Lurpak continue to overcharge.

I used to be a big fan of Lurpak Spreadable.
Lurpak Lighter was ok too.
Kerrygold 'Softer' butter is a great spreadable butter

I used to be a big fan of Lurpak Spreadable. Lurpak Lighter was ok too. Kerrygold 'Softer' butter is a great spreadable butter afternoon, I've been a fan of Country Life salted butter for a while now, very melty in the warm weather though if you leave it out.

Are we using warm butter on these 850 transgender Faceless clones? Asking for a friend. If you look at the BBC news online there is another picture alongside the 'cupcake sleeves of Trans joy' which should have been the first choice. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-57699300

I didn't realise that a butter fetish was so prevalent here.

I didn't realise that a butter fetish was so prevalent here. It's a point of honour, the right butter when properly spread to the four corners of the bread or the golden brown toast slice enhances the flavour as it melts into the slice. When you add the smooth peanut butter (not crunchy, which is a debate of its own) or honey finishes the taste sensation just right.

I was sort of hoping someone (Tuffers) would pop up with a 'butter THIS' comment.
Now I'm sad (and covered in butter)

I read a thing last week from an Aussie chef who said use mayo instead of butter when pan frying sandwiches as it browns better. Yet to try this.
Sheep buys his butter by the gramme?
