Daughters will be absolutely gutted. Here in Wales for four more days too, won't let them know just yet I think. Some fairly grim remote Admin to try and sort out this morning, or potentially a five hour round trip back home. Arse.

Morning all! Kept the house at 24.5 degrees for much of the day yesterday. That was until the BIG HEAT started in the late afternoon, when it crept up to 25 degrees. Was hoping to reduce that overnight by opening all curtains and windows. Alas, the outside temperature didn’t drop quite as much as needed, and we’re still at 25 degrees today.
