Total scenes at the train station as someone hogged the ticket machine whilst scrolling through their phone looking for a booking reference the machine was asking for. As the queue grew by the minute.
Myself and other people in the queue suggesting they use the cunting* search facility in their email fell on harassed ears.
Games. Err. A little God of War. Flying dudes with electrical tridents are the current foe.
TV. Started that Andor on the commute last week. Another today. Better than the Mandolorian so far I feel.
*Folk were more polite, if a tad tetchy.

Games? I restarted GTA5 in the gaps between football matches. It's more fun than I remember, might stick with it this time.
Telly? All the football. Brazil have been boring for at least 30 years now except for 2002, but the pundits still seem surprised every time they shitfest yet another 1-0.
Ottm? I have been notified that I am required to make a journey to the Big Smoke later this week. I am thinking of trying to get to the Hieroglyphics exhibition at the British Museum while I am there, perhaps stopping en route to pay respects at one of the key holy places on the Chatterbox Pilgrimage (the former site of Timo's Folded Pizza Company).

I think if it wasn’t Star Wars I would have stopped watching it ages ago. But it doesn’t even feel like Star Wars.

I hope you don’t think I was promulgating hate with my posting of the cartoon from the self-styled Scottish restaurant near Covent Garden yesterday. I was just questionning the language. Do people ever say ‘pure yonks’? It just looked as if someone had assembled some dialogue from a ’teach yourself Scottish’ gift book.

'Pure yonks' sounds like something people in the east of Scotland mockingly imagine people in the west of Scotland say to each other all the time. On that basis, I think it's totally legit.

Morning all
Blergh
Now that’s out of the way, I can tell you all about the video games I played yesterday.
Quick blast on the new Ratchet & Clank, which looks absolutely phenomenal. And is fun to play as well, cartoony and engaging, and funny! A good counterpoint to RDR2, which is much more grounded and realistic. Yesterday I did some hunting, trying to upgrade all my satchels. I also wandered into some old ladies house and found a shotgun that shouldn’t really unlock until mid game. I then used said shotgun to fight my way out of an ambush against 7 bad guys, then took their wagon to a fence and made myself $40. I suppose I should do the story missions at some point, but I’m having too much fun just mooching around.

OOTTM, I enjoy Scubars RDR2 updates. It really is the GOAT game. I went down the challenges rabbit hole. I think it was the kill x number of cougars with a bow and arrow that broke me. I have my save file ready for when I retire.
